Zoho CRM mobile app feature update: home page widgets, field tooltips and user image upload

Hello everyone!

Your business doesn't pause when you're on the move, and neither should your CRM. That's why in our latest update, we've introduced a few new features to make your mobile CRM experience smoother and more efficient.

Let's take a quick look at what's new in Zoho CRM mobile app.

• Home widget support (Android)
  
• Field tooltip markdown (Android)
  
• User image upload (iOS)

Home widget support (Android) 

Your Android app's user-specific home page now supports widgets! This means that any widget you create for your user home page in your CRM web platform can now be accessed on your Android app.

 

While creating a widget, it must be built with mobile compatibility. Once that’s handled, you can toggle ON the Mobile compatibility option in the widget setup screen to display the widget on the mobile home page.

Field tooltip markdown (Android) 

You can now view field tooltips added in Zoho CRM's web version directly in the Android app. Both static tooltips (text inside the field) and info tooltips (shown as an info icon) are supported.

Tooltips are available in the following areas:

• Create, clone, convert, and edit pages
  
• Detail pages
  
• Blueprint transitions
  
• Subforms (only info tooltips)
  

User image upload (iOS) 

Previously, users could only update their profile images from the Zoho CRM web app. With this update, you can now easily change your user image right from the iOS app by selecting a photo from your gallery, taking a new picture, or uploading from your files.

To manage your user image  

1. Tap on the More icon ().
   
2. Go to the Settings page.
   
3. Tap on your user image.
   
4. Choose one of the following options:
   

• View image - See your current profile picture.
  
• Change image - Update your profile picture by taking a new photo, selecting one from your gallery, or uploading from your files.
