Call Edit screen from Add screen
Hi, Just a quick question, if this is possible : In the field's On User Input, I created some functions to check if the record already exists, and then would display the value for rest of the fields on the form. The problem is, when I click on Submit, it adds a new record instead of updating the existing record. How do I make sure it _Updates_ the record instead of inserting it? - OR - How do I add a link to the Edit screen, so I can ask : "Record Exist, click here to Edit instead" Thanks
Zoho Data entry form layout
Hi.. I am testing Zoho vs Google and there are several things which Zoho can do but google can not do. One thing i could not figure out is with form layout and its display while entring the data. I create the zoho form thru zoho creator and it works but during data entry in that form the field is not line up. filed-1 name and its entry is too far ? so can we close to each other and also can we put two fileds in same line ? thanks for your help.

[Feedback] your application limit
Your limit says that the max is 10 apps before you charge i didn't realise this but went back and deleted a number of them even though there are now only three apps - it still tells me i have exceeded the limit. am i doing something wrong? should i be deleting these apps in several places? tgl

Hi I have tried to be patient on my problems regarding the fetching problems as earlier described. But I still do not get any respons from you. I told you guys that this is a very serious problem to me. Again today I had the problem. I had a view called "all new request" It worked fine before I tried to modify it. What I did was, that I removed two fields - but but... again when I try to enter the view the error shows up We are unable to fetch this data, sorry! Please note that your data is SAFE.
Use of calender View
If in Calender View and you progress month from December you are shown the same year in January. It would be better to progress year as well. Dan Andersen

Permalinked form refuses to break any lines
I've created a form in creator and am going to hand out a permalink to it so that users can access the form only enough to enter data. The issue I'm running into is that when accessed through the permalink, the form has a width well over a thousand pixels, with each field label (some of which are long) being displayed as a single line, rather than the several broken lines it would need to be in order for the form to display properly. Clear List
Hi I'm using a dynamically updated Multiselect Checkbox in a form and I want to clear the list once the form is submitted. The problem I'm facing right now, is that the list keeps growing and growing every time I submit the form with records selected in that field. I'm clearing the field on load so the user can not see the saved list, but it doesnt help because the list will keep growing and for sure there's a limit of records the field can hold. What I want is to clear the list once is submitted
2 questions
1. How can I prevent multiple entries in a form securely? For example a user with two different emails fills out the form twice. I want to be able to block a user from entering data a second time regardless of how many zoho accounts/emails they might have. Can this be done? 2. Hi I have now a similar problem as earlier with my views. When I set the criteria to "Assigned to - equals - Dennis Skouboe" and save, the change it should be working and saved! - But when I enter the view and go back to edit mode again it has changed the "Assigned to" to "Sent to logistics by" automatically. Hey, I am making a TOP 10 form for a party. So everyone can add their own top 10 songs so when can take the 100 most choisen for the party. Right now I use a google docs form. The problem is, it is a lot of work to count all the songs and point (number 1 gets 10 point, number 10 get 1 point) The biggest problem is that not every one writes an artist or song at the same way. Greenday, Green Day, Green-Day,... So I was thinking, why not make a form with autosuggest. Like you have with the google box

Custom Function: Update Records ( or
I have a view which presents names and addresses which the user downloads and uses to print a mail merge. I want them to indicate which records they have downloaded and I don't want them to use the bulk edit mode so I made a "Mailed" date field and added it to end of the view. Once the view has been filtered for the names the user wants to send mail to, I want them to activate a Custom Function which will change the value of the "Mailed" field to the current date. Change Field Format from Currency to Number or Decimal
This may be as it is designed and not a bug but it does create a lot of extra work. When I try to change a field from Currency to Number or Decimal a message appears showing all the script and Function areas where the field is used. It says I need to remove all references before I can change the field. If I understand correctly I need to comment out any reference in all the scripts, come back to the form change the field type and then go back and remove the comments. Is there a simpler way? Herb

Lookup with picklist
I used code from one of the tutorials to filter lookups with a picklist on one of my forms and it works great. The problem I am having is that I did the same on another form and it works properly once then I get the following error: Error details: Error occured while executing on user input script. unknown Task : Task personality is 1300 Error occured On the form that doesnt work the field that is to be updated based on the values of another is a multi value with checkboxes, on the form that works
