How do I get to the database to create views, stored procedures, etc?
Came across this, which seemed just what we want, but I cannot see how to work directly on the database. Also, I would want picklists to display the description but enter the record id into the table - how do I do that?
Load single record on Zoho Creator Mobile
Hi, Within the Zoho Creator Mobile app, i would like to have a form with a single line field on it, where the user can scan a barcode into this field, and it then loads up the relevant record for view/edit. Search multi select fields
Is there a way to use the built-in column search (Is, Is Not, Is Empty...Contains, etc.) to return records that contain multiple values? For example, the multi select has options for dog, cat, horse. I want to see all records where the user has selected only dog and cat, but not horse.

Zero disappears in Number Field

User interface header glitch
We have had a strange glitch in the User Interface of zoho for quite some time. I will explain it in words then i have provided a video as well. Any one else had this problem is there a fix? Basically if we execute a function that opens a record list in a zoho overlay popup then delete a record we are left with the header of the record view being covered by the one from the popup. Hi there I am struggling to create a relationship between two forms 1. My first form has the client details on with a sub form for dependents (which is form 2) 2. On form 1. I have Client ID (AutoNumber) and add it through Lookup on Form 2 3. When I try to link it with Bi-directional relationship on form 2 it does not give me any of the tables in Form 1. hello, i have a Form1 with a subform wich is a lookup to Form2. I add many rows in my subform with script deluge, no problem. but i want add a check on the Edit on my Form1. by example i write for each line in subform { alert "in the list"; } even if i have 50 rows in my subform the script don't enter in the for each ? Use Lookup Field in Report - Text Only?
I have a Form A with a decimal field that I am using to create a dropdown list as a lookup in another Form B. Using form B the user can select from a list of available numbers from records in Form A. I need to generate a report that shows the sum of the numbers for each record in form B. When I go to create the report, the lookup field in Form B shows up as text, not the looked up decimal field. I am unable to sum the lookup field even though the field is linked to a decimal. Is this a limitation

Zoho Creator backup doesn't backup custom deluge script logic from pages, validations, etc?
I backed up and downloaded my application and looked through the files. It looks like pages and validations, etc (deluge scripts) are not backed up? I am shocked to see this as I invest countless hours into developing these scripts, why are they not backed up as part of the regular backup process? Is there any way to back these up all at once or do I have to manually back up each of these on my own?

I am having hard time finding anything to do with this topic, so I decided to start one. Here is my criteria Form "construction_budget" has a field that looks up from form "plans" this field is a formula field that concatenates the plans square feet and name. On the construction_budget form, this lookup field is named "plan_name" I need field plan_name to exclude records from this field lookup if that record exists in the current forms records. Something is wrong with ID's on a Form that I have
Something very weird is going on with Form records that I have. I am seeing bizarre behavior of not finding records when I try a fetch also in my page code. I have two records in the Form and am viewing a report, I have attached a screenshot of the report. It shows both records as having the same ID field. When I click on an ID field and copy it, the value that I paste is: 2940790000000069000 This is different than what shows in the report for this field. This is really pretty crazy and very concerning.

Question about unique workflow/assignment problem
Hello, I would like assistance in trying to figure out how to set up a somewhat unique set of workflows. For example, say I have several accounts, each assigned to the respective Stage 1 account representative. Each account should then be able to be submitted/assigned to the next stage, e.g. Stage 2 account representative, Stage 3 account representative. I have been using creator for about two years and generally I have a very good impression of the service except for one point, I don't know how to store effectively information created in my applications for the long term. How can I create views on my database?
I have imported tables, but I want some forms to access views instead of the tables directly, preferably via stored procedures. Is this possible? Also need to know how to create a picklist where the description is displayed to the user, but the ID field is returned to the underlying record.
Problems forwarding to aol email addresses
Has anyone else has any issues with forms not sending to aol.com email addresses? I have a series of applications and scripts that forward user submitted data to various email addresses, and recently the aol addresses seemed to have stopped getting their emails. I am trying to use a button that will invoke a URL that I have associated with a particular record in one of the other modules. This is different than just invoking a static URL that I specify in the button. I'm looking through the documentation and I am having trouble finding anything. Intergration of Zoho CRM information into Creator Application
I am creating an application that would allow us to have people check into a rock wall. I am happily using CRM to manage the people that are interactive with us. (For instance, if someone fills out a trip application, signs into the rock wall, applies for a project, ect. they are all recorded into our CRM database) What I would like to have happen is when someone clicks on there name in our application using the CRM field, information about that person would automatically be populated into the form.

I have a "products" form with part # and images. And I have an order form with a subform that has a lookup field referring to the part# in the products form. I would like to create a report from the order form that shows images of all of the products ordered. Is this possible? Thanks!
Adding a custom URL to Zoho app
Just wondering if its possible to access Zoho creator app via a custom URL (Like database.mydomain.com)? I understand this can be done when using a customer portal but I am not planning to have a customer portal, I just want a database that is accessible by internal staff but would prefer if it could be accessed via a company address.
