Can't manually modify the currency Exchange Rate within Sales Order and Quotes
Hi We had been working with custom fields and templates in order to use different currencies ... and yesterday we decided to turn on the multi currency feature in zoho but after one day it seems very disappointing. Besides your weird currency formatting (another post) we were required to input a FIXED exchange rate for USD and EURO, our local currency is Mexican Peso. And now when creating/editing Quotes and Sale Orders the exchange rate is LOCKED on that number, but that does not work for us,
New incoming email from a non-Lead/Contact
We have a department email address setup (sales@mydomain.com) that many of our outbound emails are sent from. And when Leads or Customers reply to those emails the messages get appropriately assigned to their Lead/Contact records. But what happens if a new prospect emails sales@mydomain.com who has never contacted us before? I would like that new email to be processed as a new lead, and generate a new Lead record in CRM, as if that person had sent us a message through our website or another sales

Mandate attaching Contract to Account when it gets automatically transitioned from a Lead
Hi, I have setup a Blueprint that transitions a Lead across few states, and when it reaches 'Deal Won' the Lead gets automatically converted to an Account. There is a Contract related list for Accounts, is there any way for when the Lead gets converted to an Account, the system prompts it to be mandatory to attach Contract to the account before proceeding? Trying to create a field that auto populates/increments
Hi, We use Zoho CRM and want to auto populate a custom field like a serial number number that auto increments but is based off of several other custom fields. For example SerialNumber=CustomField1+CustomField2+AutoIncrementNumber Any ideas how to do this? I know I can create a field that auto increments based on this article - https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/kb/crm/faqs/product-customization/web-tabs/articles/how-to-create-an-auto-number-field but I can't figure out how to add in the other rules.
Facebook Integration Broken
I used to be able to link my Zoho CRM Leads, COntacts, and Companies to Twitter, FaceBook, and Google+ profiles. Now only Twitter ever finds possible matches to associate. When I looked at my settings on FaceBook, I saw that the Zoho App was expired. I renewed it from FaceBook Privacy Settings, however Zoho CRM still never finds any potential profiles to associate.

Creating Client Project WITHOUT Adding Client User
Hi there! I'm trying to add a Project to a Client Contact. I do NOT want that Client to have access to the project. When I select "none" for Client Users, I get an error message "Sorry, there was an error. Please try again later". If I add the actual client to the project, it works just fine. Create a function to clone deals after it is closed
I want to create an automated workflow to clone an existing deal after it is closed. The new deal is for our sales team to follow up with our customers about their maintenance renewal. How do you get the CRM Account from a Project record
Through the GUI web interface its possible to see that Projects are linked to the customer Account in CRM that the project is for, however I can't see that link / account ID in the data returned from the API (eg from GET /portal/[PORTALID]/projects/[PROJECTID]/). Search not working within Product Description Field in Sales Orders
Hi For several Sales Orders we imput data inside the Product Descriptions that we sometimes need to search for later on, but nothing comes back in the search results, but if I imput the exact same data into another field within the same Sales Order, I can find it with the search function. If the search function works within fields, why does it not work for the Product Description Field? please help
Prompt to schedule a follow up meeting on converting a lead
We're looking for a way to automatically prompt our consultants to schedule a follow up meeting each time they convert a lead. Currently we're using a call back date/time field but this only adds to the consultants calendar. We've created some compulsory questions that they have to complete when converting but I can't find a way to force them to schedule a meeting. Another option might be to create a button with a function that performs this? Any thoughts or advice would be gratefully received.

Hi there, I want to pull image from my product module in my inventory template (quotes). I have a image url field in my product mudule. Please advise where to store the image, (zoho documents, google drive, onedrive etc). Then Please advise the format of url to be used in the peoduct mode url field. Why are completed deals still being counted as IN PIPELINE?
Why does the Deals IN PIPELINE Home Page Component count deals that are Closed Won and Closed Lost? In my opinion, these deals are no longer in the pipeline but they're being included in my count. I have verified that these Pipeline Stages are mapped to their appropriate Forecast Type.
How does my assistant know when someone responds to an email?
I use Zoho CRM and have an assistant who helps me. Most of the leads in CRM are assigned to me but some of them are assigned to my assistant. She and I act as a team - we do not compete with each other as is common in some other sales departments. Cannot send email to a contact
I am getting a message "You cannot send mail as both the primary and secondary email addresses are invalid" when trying to initiate an email to a specific contact. I can send to other contacts, or from accounts, but a specific contact. why would this happen? And how do I fix it?
Executing a task completion based on email sent
We use email templates to send emails to prospects. We forgot to mark a completed task "email sent" for those contacts we sent the email to, is there an efficient way we can lookup these contacts and do a mass "completed task" so there is a record in activities? We can run a report for the the contacts that received the email but we are lost as to how to mark a completed task for those contacts.

Hello! I would like to connect our contacts in the CRM with their profiles in Facebook. How can we achieve this? Is there a way to do it through the likes in our Facebook page? How to set a predefined kanban view filters
Hello! I was unable to find how I can set a pre-defined filter for the layout ont he kanban view of our Deals module. I was able to create a view, and modify its settings, BUT every single time we refresh, it keeps undoing the filters. We would like to have them always filtered by the same features, such as layout and/or pipeline. Every time we refresh, all the pipelines are shown and all the layouts. It can get a bit annoying and I do not know the name of this section to find a better instruction.
