I am trying to set up a formula that returns the day of the month. For example, 5/20/2017 would return "20". I have been trying to use Dayofmonth(Datetime), but it does not work. Please help. Thanks! MG

What is the progress of data encryption? I have a couple of questions regarding how you are proceeding: are you just encrypting the entire zoho database or are you going to encrypt each clients data individually? is the key going to be zoho held or completely inaccessible by zoho? when is this going to be in place?
2 MODULES UPDATE RECORDS - I really need help, please!

CRM needs to have a Modify Time feature on the Left pane under, Filter Patients By. There is an option to modify dates, that is ok, but we need to be able to modify time in that date, due to the amount of crms submitted during the course of the day. I would like to be specific on the modified time table, when the CRM was submitted after it was modified.
find all contacts missing Phone number attribute
Earlier this week, insertRecords left out the Phone attribute that was in the xmlData for some reason. It worked for the past year but stopped working this week but starting working again today: now we have hundreds of contacts that are missing the Phone attribute and need to fix them. Problem is, using searchRecords, there is no criteria that lets me search for contacts missing the Phone attribute. How do I retrieve all contacts missing a phone number?

Hello, I want to update the date of birth of my contacts. For now, all my contacts have an empty date of birth. I want my contacts to update this information themselves. So I think go through the API but I do not know exactly how to do it. I think we need to create a form with a "date of birth" field. This form will be opened by the contact itself via a URL that it will receive by email. In the URL there must be a way to customize the form with a hidden field containing the contact's ID (for example).

Using Email Opens and Clicks as Fields to trigger automations
I currently subscribe to a service called Reply.io. There are others like PersistIQ. They send a series of emails to a list or individual until they open and then they stop. I'd love to be able to set up the same types of automations in Zoho CRM by using the email clicks and opens as triggers in automations. Then I could duplicate what I already have and save some money. This would be great add-on value for new customers looking at a CRM and wanting to use an email SaS solution as I mentioned above.

CRM & SHEET INTERFACING OR INTEGRATION
Hello All. In a perfect world CRM needs to access data in a spreadsheet either on xls or a zoho sheet. In my example I just want to use a zip code and another corresponding field and return a value to zoho CRM. I have a set of complex tables that has nothing to do with the data in the CRM which is why it is not there. While the information I need is a little more elaborate, this is the use case. Field Data disappeared and we can't figure out why.
One of our users entered data in a field. It is a drop-down field with several options. On December 18th, the user updated the fields. The timeline only shows that she "Updated Some Fields". She ran a report with the data contained in these fields and downloaded it (proving that the data was in Zoho). Yesterday, the same Accounts were checked and the data in those fields had disappeared. There is no activity in the timeline that would indicate that the data was changed or deleted. Does anyone

Need to add freight with varying costs to quotes
Hi there, Just upgraded to Zoho Pro and spent the last few days dealing with product entries and adjusting quote templates, etc. I need to add freight to my quotes, but the price will be different for each quote because the machinery I sell is located all over North America and my customers are all over the continent, too. I have created a "Freight" product, but there's no way to adjust the price in my quotes. This is causing a huge problem for me. Am I supposed to keep creating new "Freight" products

We are currently in a testing phase with Zoho CRM internally. Is there any way to add multiples of the same product to a deal? We have three different hardware products and our clients often purchase multiples. Right now when we sell more than one of the same piece of hardware to a client within the same opportunity we have to create multiple deals to reflect the correct numbers e.g. when there are three of the same product we have to do Deal 1 of 3, Deal 2 of 3, Deal 3 of 3. Is it possible for my crm to update a date field in the contact record every time I send an email to this contact? The idea is to always have the last contact date by email with this client. So I can make a report with clients that we did not contact in the last month, for example.
Making Reminder field in Events required

I am unable to link back to the original Deal/Potential when I create a Project and would like to know how to do that. I believe this is a fundamental of CRM - how else can the Project Team know contact / company details if they cannot link back to the original Potential/Deal and Lead via CRM ? Field Mapping for converting Potentials to Quotes
Hi, I'd like to suggest the ability to map fields from Potentials to Quotes similar to the way we can map fields from Lead to Contact or Quote to Sales order, etc. We have many custom fields for Potentials that go directly onto our Quotes. I created an emailtemplate, with our logo and social media buttons as clickable images. The template also has an attachment. When I send this template the mail looks good in outlook. But on my iPhone 6 it is shown as plain text, so the clickable logo and social media buttons are replaced by hyperlink-text. When I send the same template without the attachment the mail also looks good on my iphone. (How) can I send an emailtemplate with attachment that will not be shown as plain text on mobile devices?

Pop-up linked to a product.
I'd like to be able to create a pop-up or series of pop-ups that link to a product. So that when a product is added to an account then for example, three months later a pop-up will remind account manager to contact the account. Display Alert/Limit Ability to Create Tasks based on a "Task Type" Value and Setting to Recurring
Hi Zoho, We have a situation where we want to allow users to create recurring tasks ONLY when the Task Type matches certain values. One solution would be to display an alert to users if the Task Type does not match the criteria (starts with "V") and they want to create a Recurring task. But I see that that Alerts are more email notifications than they are alerts that get displayed to users. The other would prevent them from being able to save if they selected "Yes" for recurring and the Task Type

I need to be able to use different fonts and a small picture in the description of products using CRM and the quote template, where we make the changes in the descriptions of the products and everything is there when we choose to quote that product. HELP PLEASE !
Design Issues - Why do much useless space.
Why is there so much space in between everything on the contacts and accounts screens? Why does the label have to be the same size font as the data? It just makes it a very confusing look. If there is no data fell then there is so much empty blank space and looks bad. Help with Custom Functions Daily Limit
Hello all, I have written a function that will lookup city, state and county based off a zip code entry however I keep running into issues here. I contacted zoho support and they told me that there is no way for them to look up how much of the limit I have used however I noticed we have zoho enterprise edition and should have at least 200 calls. Below is the code I used and I counted the number of errors I had which is 106 records that didn't get updated. I checked the other 94 records and they weren't

Hello, The following inserts a quote perfectly EXCEPT the field "Valid Until" (date) field is not inserting. There are NO ERRORS being thrown by the API. I have tried the DateTime format also. We have other clients where that works fine but again datetime and Date are failing on this field, I have tried as CDATA as well....
