Is it possible to create line items in Email Templates?
Hi, I want to be able to list line items for Products in Sales Order but I can't figure out if this is even possible. Is it, and if yes can I possibly get an example? Thanks. Scott B.

Zoho CRM Modules vs Zoho Creator
Hello! I am new to Zoho and I have a couple of questions... I have two modules that have a parent child relationship (Contract...parent and Detail...child). While I can make two modules in Zoho CRM, I do not believe that I can create a screen where the Contract is the primary and the Detail is shown in a subform...correct? If this is the case, this means that I have to create an app with Creator. If I do this, is there any documentation that shows how I can access Zoho CRM data from a Creator app?

Hi, I "send email" through the CRM contact, but I'm not getting the right results I should be on reports. I know the emails were opened because I received responses back. Any one no reason why they are not registering opens, clicks etc.

Using custom buttons to log activity
I'm trying to create a faster way for reps to log remedial tasks like Left Voicemail, No Answer, No Voicemail, Send Canned Email (without using the send email button, choosing template) etc. Thought was to use a custom button at the top of a lead view that would, in 1 click, log a task, mark as completed, change lead status, and move to next record. Has anyone see this type of integration done in Zoho? I've had it done in SFDC before to improve efficiency. Appreciate the help/guidance.
Contact column names are CRM language dependent?
When i use insertRecord method while CRM's interface language is english everything works fine. But I switch CRM language to Russian and same insertRecord call return error: Фамилия can't be blank Фамилия means last name. Last Name is the only required field in my contacts. Of course i provide it in API call.
Event Layout - multi layouts?
It is possible to have multiple contact layouts, however, I'm unable to find out how to create multiple event layouts. Please can someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks.

We are an enterprise client using Zoho CRM Plus. Support from Zoho is random at best. What is your published response time? Sometimes I hear back in 24 hours, more often it is many days, with many emails.
Account check ins
How can I create a report that lists accounts that have NOT had a check in the last 30 days? If an account has had a check in the last 30 days, I can create a report that lists it (check ins with a from value less than 30 days ago). This does not fit the criteria since I am looking for a list of accounts that have NOT had a check in in the last 30 days. If an account has two check ins, one more than 30 days old and one less than 30 days old, I can create a report that shows the older check in
How can I update records using criteria
In the API documentation is established that I have to use the id of the record to update the field but, is it the only criteria value I can use to update? what if I want to update all records that have blue as color?, for example. Is it possible?

Hi, i have a custom date field. I want to trigger an automation when the date in that field matches the current date. How can I do that? Could it be that my version of CRM does not allow this?
Data Migration Tool using Skip option
I am new to Zoho and am about to import more than 160,000 contacts and accounts. I want to use the Data Migration tool because of the size of the file. However, I do not see the Skip option using the DM tool versus using the standard import. I tried a small sample with the DM tool and it leaves me with duplicate accounts. Do not want that. Also, once the accounts are in and I bring in the contacts using the DM tool, will the contacts be attached to their accounts, as they would in a manual import?
Account CSV Imports
Upon trying to use Import Accounts wizard, the tool correctly lets me select the small CSV file I seek to test. But in next steps it simply keeps cycling on "Uploading...". I have already customized the fields in Zoho CRM to map. But the system never lets me get that far. I am using Chrome browser on a Mac and pop-ups have been enabled, so I'm not missing any cues that hold up the process. Please advise. Thank you!
Import Activites and associating with Account, Opportunity(Deal) etc.
I've tried to import an activities csv file several times today. The file will upload and all field mapping works except the account will not match up to the related to field. I need a way to mass upload activities and have them match up to the account, deal, contact they were created for. Any suggestions?
How do I import deals with amount field being populated?

Data Migration from Salesforce to Zoho - Issue with Tasks
I am trying to move from Salesforce to Zoho. I was able to import Contacts from CSV file. Then when I imported Cases from the CSV file I was able to associate them properly to their prospective Contacts by specifying the Contact First Name + Last Name as the Case's "Related To:" field. I was able to import Leads from the CSV file. Then when I used Setup > Data Administration Tools > Migrate data from other CRM > Tasks, I specified the Lead First Name + Last Name as the Task's "Related To:" field
How to create an input field based on another filed input?
Hi there, I have this custom field named 'Job Type' which has 2 options: Edicion, Proyecto. What I need is if you choose 'Edicion' then another field appears to be filled: 'Number of slides' field, but if you choose 'Proyecto', 'Number of slides' doesn't appear. I was trying with custom formulas but with no success, any ideas? Thanks!

Zoho Automatically Merges Contact & Account
Had a customer sign up a month ago with the name "Robert" and I just had another Robert sign up yesterday. Only to come and find out that both contacts/accounts were merged even though there is no relevance in their accounts. I ended up separating them manually and surprise, there it was again this morning.. What's going on lately?

I have the free edition and am almost ready to move to a paid version. It states today I have reached my limit when trying to add a new contact? I deleted a few contacts and it still give me this limit notice. I cannot add new accounts either, even after deleting a few. Please advise.

Adding a twitter account to client's organisations?
Hi There, I am brand new to Zoho, and taking over from a departed staff member to set up for use. Can someone please tell me how I can add a organisation's twitter handle as a field (that will feed into the social tab) to the organisation record. I know you can do it for contacts/leads, but we aren't using leads, and most of our clients have an organisation twitter account rather than an individual account, so it makes more sense for us to have the accounts set at the organisation level. I always look into ways of improving and move from using mouse to touch has been a challenge. Actually very few tasks require the use of mouse. Now with this new Blueprint, the setup area looked touch friendly, still dragging the elements failed. Setting Blueprint and even all new tools admin areas touch friendly will bring the future and spark creativity into admin users.
Create New Task 90 Days after field update
Hello, I have a date field; "Last Contact BD Interaction". This field is kept updated by a custom function, triggered when people lodge a completed Task or Call against a contact. It is never manually updated. I would like to use a Workflow Task to automatically create a "follow up X contact" task, 90 days after the "Last Contact BD Interaction". This should be assigned to the contact owner. Workflow 1 (attached) is not working. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to go about this?
Unable to connect to messaging server.
Hi, I getting this message 'Unable to connect to messaging server.' continuously regardless of what I do. Also, the system has been playing up today intermittently and has reported on the odd occasion that I don't have the required permissions. Getting distinct field values using REST API
Hi, I have a requirement where I need to get a list of all possible field values for a specific field. This would be used to populate a drop-down list in a 3rd party app. For example given the field Title I would like to be able to run a query similar to the following SQL query. Hi! We just started using Zoho CRM, and I have a quick question. How do we convert an account that was once active to show as no longer active? I don't want to see the inactive account on the account page -- and I don't want to delete it because we want a record of all contact/etc. Thanks!

Duplicatiing/Creating modules
Can I create my own "Prospect" module that has a convert button to convert a "Prospect" to a "Lead"? Also, can I create some stage-probability mapping in the "Leads" and new "Prospects" module?
Leads Filters: Anytime it's a date, have a "between" option
I'm trying to filter my leads to see those when an event date of between x and x. I can do that in reports, but can't do that in Leads view. Anytime there is a date field, there should be a "between" filter. Seems easy enough to do.
Copy Customization is missing!
In the past, I was able to send my customization to other users in the Professional Edition. That option has been removed from the settings tab. Why has this been taken away and how can I get it back?
