Custom Function to Update Invoice "Contact Name" Field?
Hello, I have created hundreds of invoices in Zoho CRM (in the invoice module). The Invoices are assigned to an Account, but the "Contact Name" field was left blank. I need a way to update the Contact Name for all of my past invoices. Is there a Custom Function that I can create to automate this process? A function that will look up the Account Name for each Invoice, and populate the Contact Name field with the Contact assigned to that Account? Thank you. Any help would be appreciated!
Creating Views With Combination of Different Modules?

Here in a custom-function, I am getting error of "Inactive user, code is 4813", I am not getting the idea of this error. I think It is showing that the logged-in user is not active user. Client to Lead
My sales rep has converted some Leads into a Client (using the convert option). These are not accurate and now I am unable to see them in the Leads area, obviously. Can I take them back to a lead?
Does Zoho API support InsertRecords by json
Hello! I'm looking at https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/api/insertrecords.html and it seems that the only way of post new records to the api as xml. Does this mean that json is not supported as it is in the GET methods of the API? Regards, Jakob

Hello. I'm a user of CRM Plus. Every time I made a request though the API to get the contacts, leads or whatever, I obtain a maximun of 20 elements. In the API documentation is written 200/100 is the maximun limit of elements in a request for accesing/modifying. Any idea of what is happening? Thanks in advance.

Books & Crm - Mind Boggler
So we use Books & CRM, and I'd like to send an email to all of my customers. Can I see get a list of my customers in CRM? Customer is someone that has paid an invoice. Um, no, I can't. If I pull up an account, I can see their paid zoho books invoice. But I cannot write a report or query in Zoho CRM to display accounts or contacts based on what they have done in Zoho Books. Price levels per account (customer accounts)
I recommend that besides price books that are assigned to specific products, you can be able to create a price level tables and assign a specific level of discount to a customer. ie, customer A has a 10% discount across the board and customer B has a 15.5% discount across the board. This is a typical scenario for wholesalers. Thanks!
Edit Date on Notes
I just imported my crm file from my previous CRM system. I mapped out everything on the import as best I could, but the notes came over as if they were done the day I did the import versus over the past year. I cannot see how to edit the date to be the correct date when the note was recorded. Is there any way for me to easily edit these entries? What is best practice when saving emails and other documents to a record? I thought by saving to the most bottom level it would roll up to the top level of of an account record. So for example, instead of saving an email to to an Account or a Contact directly, I thought by saving to a Potential record that, that email would then be visible on the Potential record, the contact record for the contact that was associated with the email, and the account record that the contact is associated with. Problems Adding Picklist to Calls Modular
I am trying to add a drop down or pick list custom field inside the calls module. Problem is that the option for adding a new section is not available inside the customization page. All other pages such as leads & contacts have the add new section available. Please help. Importing Accounts - what to do w/ the required Account ID field?
I want to import some Accounts. On the map fields page, I noticed the Account ID field is required. Since I'm not migrating from a different CRM, I don't have existing Account ID fields....just the Account Name. Do I make make up Account IDs for each Account record I want to import?

Problem with Asterisk phonebridge
Hello, I have installed the Asterisk Phonebrige and connected it to Asterisk Manager. I also have created a token in Zoho and implemented in the conf file. Accounts Module "Duplication/Filter"
What I am trying to do is have two different tabs at the top of the CRM page. Basically I want to have two Accounts pages, the only difference is the filters applied to the accounts. So for example I would have one a Distributors and another as Customers. They would be filtered by Account Type. I know this can be done on the accounts page using filters and creating views but for ease of use the tabs at the top would be the better solution. I just wanted to know if this was possible, thank you.

Description Field in Events is missing
Recently the description field in Events does not show when opening and looking at the event. If I edit the event, I can add a description, but am unable to view. Limited and structured with virtually no customization allowed. Extremely limited reporting with no related modules. No way to disable email notifications to all your users as you test and learn to navigate the module.

Emails not attaching to contacts
I have been using Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail in conjunction with Google Apps for a little more than six months. I have used inboxes in gmail, CRM and Mail with no issues. About 4 days ago all emails stopped associating with contact records. I made no changes that I am aware of. Emails continue to flow into all the inboxes but are not associating to contacts. Create a Potential with Custom Potential owner.
Hi, I'm having trouble specifying the "Potential Owner" through my custom function. My function creates the new "Potential" and fills in all details fine, however, It does not fill in the "Potential Owner" field at all. Is this not possible? I saw in the Set Up->Modules->Potentials->Potential Owner as a look up field and shows the message as given in the attachment.
Any way to include individual Potentials in a Forecast report?
Or alternatively, include Target (from the Forecasts module) in a Potentials report? I'm trying to generate a report that shows each potential in the pipeline that's likely to close next month (stage = negotiation or higher), by salesperson, alongside their target for that month.

Card Scanner versus Leads app.
Hello, I would like to know the difference between the 2 applications. My reason for asking is that we presently installed Card Scan application and noticed that the contacts are automatically saved into our CRM - contacts. The problem is we now have duplicates. Sometimes the contacts or Accounts are maybe not identically written the same as on the business card and that creates a double contact and or account. I would prefer that it signals the similar contacts and or accounts. Would in this case

Hi, I would like to send email notification to all customers that have overdue payments. For that I have created a workflow that sends email to the customers if their payments are overdue with 7,10,14,17, >=21 days and a boolean field Send Overdue Email is updated. Do I have to use the schedule setting in order to update the Send Overdue Email automatically everyday at 11:00 or there is any other option to trigger the workflow automatically?
