Sharing with Outside Contact
I am having difficulty in figuring out how to share a document with an outside contact. Any assistance would be helpful.
Problems with Contacts
Hello, I have some Problems to enter an E-Mail Adress in a new contact. The Message ist "Please enter a valid Adress". What is wrong ? The format of the Adress ist for example Mail@gmx.com. Virtual Office is installed on an Windows 2000 System. Thank you for your answer
Problems Wiht Contacts - Virtual Office
Hello, I have 3 Problems with the contacts in Virtual Office. 1. I can�t enter a privat E-Mail Adress. 2. The format of the address in Germany is not correct. The Number must be in front of the Village 3. If I enter an adress with an E-Mail Adress there is an error message: "Please enter a valid email address." The Format of the E-Mail Adress is for example "Test@Test.de" It dosen�t work. Thank you for the Informations
reload ZOHO VO without loosing data/contacts etc
Hi, I recently backed up the files to my external harddrive so I could wipe windows, and now I cant get ZOHO VO to work or reload again. Its will reload from scratch but I just want it to reload the original so i dont loose any contacts or stored information. can anyone help as I have been unable to find a solution for weeks? thanks in advance.
Just installed VO and can "search" contacts...
Just download and installed Virtual Office. Working with Contacts section. I imported over 1,000 contacts. When I do a "search" there is No Result; regardless of what I put in. The only Letter in Blue (showing a contact) is my login ID. How do I get the Contacts that I imported to work properly in this system?
Bug in "Add Mail Account"
When creating a new mail account I get an error telling me to try later. I have successfully created two accounts using similar settings (only the username is different). The mail server is located on the same machine and works fine. The two accounts I have already created seems to work just fine, also. Audible Event Reminders
Hi guys, I very much enjoy using ZOHO Virtual Office but, by missing a workshop this morning, I thought of a way you could make the event reminders work better. Add some sort of periodic audible reminder - one that required you to access your calendar in order to turn the reminder off. That way one would be sure of seeing his/her schedule and any daily appointments. I missed my workshop because, while I had ZOHO running on my desktop, I did not use my computer this morning and so did not see the
No backup option
Hi All, We are running VO for testing. I was trying to test the backup procedure but as root administrator I don't have any backup option in Settings->Admin ->General ->Backup We are running VO 3.2 build n.3201 Can anybody help Thanks in advance.

Questions concerning IMAP Account in VO
Hello, we are evaluating ZOHO VO at the moment for our company and are very interested since the tool provides great functionality. Still there is some behavior that seems strange to me: To test the mail functionality I started an IMAP Mail Account in ZOHO connecting to our Mail Server. Receiving messages works fine, all my folders got filled after some time, but: 1) I cannot find any message, that I created and sent from this account. The message gets sent (as I recieve it in the target account)
How can I enable an e-mail account again?
I started to test Zoho VO like three days ago. The first e-mail that I configured was from Gmail (Google). I tested it and I could use it to receive a send e-mail. Later I added other e-mail test it and no problem. To avoid continue receiving e-mail form Gmail I disabled the account. After that I tried to enable that e-mail again without progress, I delete the account, did a logout, login again, added the Gmail account again but is not enable. What could I do? Jose
Cannot login to ZOHO VO from a computer other than localhost
Hi, I am trying to set up VO on a local LAN (192.168.0.x IPs). I installed VO on one machine and I can login on that machine using http://localhost:8080. However, I cannot login into VO from any other machine, I get a "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.102:8080." error. But I can ping that machine and I can access it with VPN for example, both by name and by IP. I am probably doing something stupid but I am stuck. Any help is wellcome. Thanks, catalin59
ZOHO VO Beta - Application Frames
Suggestion - When clicking on the Writer, Sheet or Show applications from within the ZOHO VO, the applications initially load in a separate browser window. Subsequent access to these applications is within the normal work frame of VO. Can't speak for all users, but I would prefer initial loading to also appear within normal work frame of VO.
Email problem since updating to SP2
I installed the Service Pack 2 the other day and everything seemed to go fine, however now I have noticed that VO does not seem to make any effort to check for new email... I can't see that I have gotten new messages unless I go into the email section and choose to "Fetch Mails". And when I Fetch Mails, it doesn't fetch them for every account like it did before, not I have to go to every account and click Fetch Mails to see if I have new messages... Is this one of the new features? If so I liked

Hi. I signed up for the b eta and received a confirmation email saying that my log in info would be sent shortly. I never received it. Is the beta still accepting users to virtual office? I'd love to try it.
VO Beta Problem Issues
Windows XP SP2 Cable Modem Broadband Connection Firefox 2.0, IE 7 - File Sharing Editor displays error message and is non-functional. - Link Editor hangs and does not create new link. - My Network Place connection displays error message and is non-functional. In spite of the above, your application in Beta shows a lot of promise and has the potential to bring grpups where members are widely dispersed together in a virtual work environment.
zoho keeps shutting down
hello, I am running VO on an ubuntu dapper box and about 3 weeks ago i started having to reset the server every 24 hours or so.... i have attached the error log files could anyone help me figure this out? thanks joey

When I try to search I'm given an option of forums to search (using advance search on left sidebar) but none of them are for this forum. I'm trying to search for an answer to the IMAP email question that I and someone else posted. It looks like the previous poster's question was not answered so I figured I'd see if it was posted in the past.

IMAP to POP3
Dear VO Support, Once you have a email account configurated in IMAP, is there any way to switch it to POP3?, I can't see how to do it from the edit option of the email accounts. Thank you very much

AD and LDAP authentication
hello, how to check, that AD authentication works? When I try to import users from AD I enter: To hostname: the name of the Primary domain controller (I tried IP also) Domain name: FQDN domain name Username: AD username, not domain admin PW: that user passw. Pressing list users gives the following error: Problem while getting users from the Active Directory.Check the Inputs and try again. When using LDAP I can get the user list and also sign up a user to Zoho VO, but I can not login with that user.

Hi, I'm trying to import users from AD using LDAP. We have very many users in AD (~10.000), but I want to import only 10 of them. When I'm making LDAP request I receive a message "Problem in processing" What to do? Regards, Max

bit of a suggestion: Please put a clock somewhere, maybe in the sidebar. It's a bit hard to keep track of time when you're in your browser's full-screen mode and the OS clock is covered. Thanks, Basu

Renaming Folder/File "ok" button not working
After clicking the "re" link to rename a doc, the 'Rename Folder/File' window for renaming a doc/file opens and I retype the name of the doc/file, click 'ok' and nothing happens, the doc isn't renamed, its like the button is dead. The 'cancel' button works, just not the 'ok' button. journeyerdb

Hello guys, I've installed ZVO in an Windows2003 SP1 machine. Updated ZVO to version 3.2. Everything goes fine, until when i check my emails i get a message on top of my INBOX [b]No buffer space available (maximum connections reached?): JVM_Bind[/b] What seems to be the problem??? Thanks!
Having problems registering
I am having problems registering. I put my information in, click the "I accept Create account" button, it waits about 60 seconds then a red message flashes at the top of the sign up frame that says "Error while registration". What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!!
cli command to keep zoho VO running?
hi all, I have VO installed on a Ubuntu 6.06 server box, everything runs great, but the server runs headless, so when I exit an ssh session, VO shuts down.I had previously found the post with the switch for run.sh that fixes this, but I can't find it now .... any help greatly appreciated. Failed service pack installation
I tried to update our VO 3.1 installation with service pack 3 this morning. The installation completed successfully but VO would not run after the installation. So, I ended up uninstalling the service pack and rebooting the server. Everything is now working again. I tried, once again, to apply service pack 3 but now I get an error when the installation gets to 98% complete, it errors out and proceeds to uninstall. Would it be possible to install version 3.2 directly over 3.1 to avoid the service

Problems Uploading Document
Salamutations! I am using the Virtual Office online beta. Setting up my email pop3 email accounts was easy and I really appreciate it. I find the calendar a little tricky � only because I was expecting something a lot like MS Outlook, which of course it isn�t. I�m conscious this is a beta and work in progress, so I�ll go easy on my expectations: but a wee note� it�s not in the same league as your wonderful zohowriter �yet.
