unable to upload documents or create folders
Howdy, Have had an account in VO for a couple of days. I have been unable to create folders or add documents. After uploading a file or creating a folder, the page refreshes but nothing shows up. Any ideas?
Cannot find Upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2SP2
my problem ist - probably - pretty simle: i cannot find a version history, where i can download past upgrades/patches. i'm currently still using VO version 3.1 and want to upgrade to 3.2+ i just cannot find the upgrade pack anywhere on the site.
Apple Computers have problems downloading documents
I have some people who have apple computers and both people had problems downloading from Documents folders. Can you help figure this out? Vinay
vo3220 contact bug
Hi, After installing 3220. For contact, we cannot enter email ID that is not end with .com e.g. com.hk the system will say not valid email ID Please advise. Thanks.
FireFox Issue
I have installed 3.2(3220). I seem to be having an issue with Firefox 1.5.0.7. When i upload a Word Document to the documents area, it uploads fine and i can see it in the list. but when i click it in the list, it does not do anything. no prompt to open, or download just nothing. However when i manuall create a document and edit it in the little editor, i can click that and i get prompted to download it. Can I make zoho notify users when content has been uploaded?
Basically the subject says it all. I want to be able to have my users get notifications when the user content on our VO zoho server is updated. If if it is possible to have these notifications occur is it possible to have some kind of summary notifications so that people do not get emails everytime anything is changed, but rather maybe once a day or once every couple of days? I can not fetch emails
Hi, all. If I turn on the Spam-Filter in my Endian-Firewall and press Fetch Mails, the text "fetching mails..." is displayed until I press another button. And there are no new mails. But if I turn off the Spam-Filter, I can fetch all mails. I�m sure, that my testmails are not spam, because it works with other email-clients behind the same firewall. Can anyone help my? ZOHO Virtual Office Demo expired?
I opened an account on Virtual Office on Premise Demo and tried inputting some events and activities. Now when I try to login, I am brought back to the login page as soon as I press the login button. Is this due to expiration of my demo account? How can I recover the data I inserted?
changing wap port
I changed the port number for the wap interface when I installed the s/w. Now I want tochange it tosometing different - how do I do that? I tried searching the forum as I now this has been answered before but I could not find that old post. Steve
Odd email problem. Help Please?
Hiyas, I am new to Zoho and it looks excellent. I have the On Premise downloaded and was easily able to configure my email......however I am unable to configure it on the Web? When I test it it "times out". I have checked the settings numerous time. I can access it using Yahoo and mail2web. I use cableone.net. Any help? Thanks, Dennis
Service Pack installation problem
We have been testing VO 3.1 for a couple of weeks and just purchased an on site license for 25 users. I was attempting to install service pack 3 and ran into a problem. The installation gets to about 98% complete and then errors out and proceeds to uninstall the service pack. I tried it several times with the same result. Does anyone have any suggestions? After restarting VO I logged in and checked the version info. It states that the version is now 3.2 but it will not let me install service pack
configuring email accounts
I'm trying to configure email accounts on zoho office, however, when I put in the configuration settings, there is always a time out error message (gmail account). Can this be overcome?

VO integration and database quuestions
Can VO be integrated with other products?. I am testing it and think its is really a great product. I am also interested in HelpDesk. So it will be wonderful if both products could work together, means VO Contacts <=> HelpDesk Customers, VO users <=> HelpDesk Staff. I note that products use embedded mySQL database. It would be great if we can select the mySQL server location (ip address:port), so existing mySQL installations could be reused. Thanks again for your great work
One pass login for VO and CRM
I installed both the VO and CRM latest version in the same machine. Seemingly they don't share any data and they are to be logged in independently. They really don't share anything operationally? Or I just don't know?
Can't unshared or delited shared documents
Hi! my VO v.3220 on winXP SP2 I can't to unshared previously downloaded and shared text document - (because in "Shared To User(s)/Groups" windows I have nothing to see); I can't delete (Access denied. The item's is shared.); I can't edit or view previously downloaded text document (when I click on icon "edit" in left corner of IE appears yellow triangle "Error on page"). How I can fix this bug?
Creating an account
I created a Zoho account for Writer, but what I really want is a VO account. But when I try to create a VO account, it tells me "error on page" and does nothing. Has the signup for that stopped? If so, do you know when it will be active again? Thanks!!!
task for groups
Hi all, I am testing Zoho VirtualOffice. I defined a group with several members. But I can not assign a task to a special group member. I selected the appropriate group und clicked the menu "Add task". A new window "New personal task" opened. In this window it is not possible to assign the task to a group member. I think there is a link problem. I am redirected when I try to down load the latest service pack.
Need to uninstall - dont have shortcuts
For some reason the menu group was not created when I installed Zoho office. I want to remove and do a clean install but the instructions only tell how to do it with a shortcut. What is the manual way to do it? This is on a Windows server Thanks Greg

I haven't received a verification email so I was wondering what the procedure was for signing up for beta testing the virtual office? Did I miss something? Advice appreciated. Run zoho vo server each time server boot
Hi all, what is the solution to setup the server to run at each server web boot ? (linux ubuntu v6.06_TLS) as a service (in background) and how to use ./run.sh in background ? (now if i close my ssh window it stop the zoho server :/) Thx Rudwolf

I cannot seem to find an answer to this (maybe I am not looking thoroughly enough). How do I add email addresses to the contact list that are NOT in a .com domain? VO don't works...
One week ago the power supply of our server spoiled. After repair the server, apparently all was working Ok, but: VO in some occasions it failed, I don�t know if it is related. It was necessary to reinitiate the program. Yesterday it shows error messages to all the users when try to connect in the user and password screen. Now, VO doesn�t work after reinitiate the program and server. Best regards.

group contact cannot be deleted

Can't delete group documents
I am having trouble deleting group documents even though I am the root administrator and moderator for the group. As a last resort, I removed them from the file structure in Windows, but that does not delete them from VO. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, first i'm french so sorry for my poor english and mistakes i can make. I would know if Zoho VO On-Premise version stay after 30 days with all options active when less than 10 users have been created. What is the difference between On-Premise and On-Demand please ? I would like to use this solution in my personal office (3 persons) so can I use On-Premise version all the time without bug after 30 days ? After this time, will I see any difference ?? Deployment Issues
I am having a problem. I have installed Zoho Virtual Office on my computer and now I am trying to get my coworkers to be able to access Zoho. We are currently working with OpenGW and the only that they had to do was to follow a link - but that apparently isn't the case here. Do they also need to download it? I am completely new to this. Hi, I tried ZohoVO and I like it:-) however there is a few things that will be very good to have, like: A Text Only version. Clean and fast to load. IM. Will be great to be able to chat with different protocols like MSN, YahooIM, GoogleTalk etc.. RSS. To be able use ZoohoVO as an RSS reader will be very good, and be able to have tabs @ zohoVO desktop so we can have our feeds there, organized under tabs, like NetVibes, PageFlakes etc.. Port configuration problem
Hi all, I can't run Zoho VirtualOffice on port 8080 because my tomcat server is running on this port. I changed Zoho VO port to 8081. I can create a http connection successfully. But if I try to create a https connection it fails with the error message "Connection was refused ...". Running Zoho VO on port 8080 I can create the https connection. I guess it is a setting problem in one of the config files. Which settings must I change running Zoho VO on a changed port. Regards Andrea

Hi all, I have installed Zoho Virtual Office on a Slackware 10.2 machine. The Installation run successfully and I could connect over http successfully, too. But using Zoho Virtual Office requires the connection over https. I have configured the https corresponding to the instruction under the help menu. Shared Documents Folder Lost......HELP!!
I have a group that had a shared documents folder in it that I created. I wanted to move the folder to a new group. I was told I could not move a folder because it was shared. I UNshared it, assuming I would still be able to view my folder I created. Now I can not see it anywhere in personal or shared documents to move it. \ How can I get my folder back????
can I share write, sheet, presentations?
I like that zoho writer, sheets & presentation into VO but the way to share these seems cumbersome. I think instead of having to email someone when I want to share a word document for example, it would be easier if I added a user to my virtual workspace & then we he or she logged on, they could just see the documents I have created. Can you do this? Also there should be a way we can send internal messaged between users. like an internal inbox (not through email) or ability to set up discussion boards.

document error after migrating zoho to another PC
Hi, I have migrated zoho from to another pc. I do this by using the backup function of zoho, the extract the data to the new server. The build version is the same 3210. Everything seems alright except for the documents saved in the past. I can still see the document list, but no operation can be done on every single document. Whenever I click it, it turns up to be "ERROR! Sorry we are unable to process your request. Please try again later." I cannot even copy or move or email the document. Can anyone
How do you limit who can create an account?
I just setup zoho virtual office on a windows server, and could not find an admin area to limit access, or deny people who are trying to sign up. Is there any sort of top level adiministration features for this software? Are there any sort of administration manuals available? Please help.
