Hierarchical structure of tasks is not displayed
When I open the tasks list in Classic View mode and some tasks have subtasks, the list looks flat. Clicking the "Reorder" link and then immediately clicking Cancel rebuilds the list so that subtasks are displayed shifted, as subtasks should. This problem has appeared after Christmas, when some update was made (as I understand it). Browser Firefox 26 on Windows 7 32-bit. Sincerely yours, Eugene Mayevski
Move the location of where you update an individual task.
Currently, if you want to change the priority of a task or close it, when you click on the check box next to it, the update dialogue appears at the top of the Task List. It doesn't matter where the task is located in the task list, it will be at the very top. It would be nice if the update box would be on the side or above the last clicked task.

moving client user to portal user
I have deleted a client user and have been trying to add the same person as a portal user but am getting an error " user already added as client in this organization" although i have deleted over 2 days ago. How do i fix this ?

Is this Projects by client option only available to the administrator role? I would like to have my users (who are in the manager or employee roles) be able to see the two options for grouping. Projects which groups by the group and the Projects By Client which groups the projects by clients.

Hi, I will like to know if i can change the user privileges that are assigned de facto to the roles that Zoho Projects has for employee or customers. In particular, Can a user as Manager, use a feature of Zoho Projects to determine that an employee/contractor cannot DELETE tasks or milestones? I tried to change this user from being a employee/conctractor to customer, but then, with this privilege the user could not see the Tasks and Milestones of the project. Thank you for your help, F
Any one have suggestions for using time reporting feature
I was hoping to use the time reporting feature but I am finding a few oddities. I was hoping that someone using it could offer tips about how they use it. The area that seems most lacking is the reporting side. As a simple example, I found the only way to see who is reporting time to a project is to show their picture (and/or hover over the field in the report). Across Multiple Projects
Do we have a solution? I need the ability to see across multiple projects all tickets being tested ? Across multiple project tickets for that fact I need to be able to see what all is at a certain status. Example: if I need to see everything that is currently being tested, how do I do that?
All projects but one have disappeared.
I was in a forum and clicked on post a reply and zoho said access was denied - contact administrator. I AM the administrator. Now, if I click on Projects, only one out of about 25 is there. Does anyone know how to get them back?

Trouble adding client user to project
Hello. I have added a client user and opened a specific project to them. I have also added individuals from the client to the project. When the client has attempted to use the zoho email address to report an issue to the project the client has received a bounce back that their email address is not registered. Also, I was initally unable to import users from the CRM. Once I was able to do that the screen would continually freeze and not allow me to import. I eventually added the client manually

Why no hours option for tasks in Premium edition?
I upgraded to the Premium level of Zoho projects, thinking that I would be able to create task durations using hours. After all, the feature grid said I would get a "Business Hours" feature. However, once I started using it, I found that there was no hours option, and only whole-day increments were allowed in the Gantt view. I get the same message if I try to put fractional days into the detail window. What is the use of "Business Hours" configuration if the program completely ignores all hours

I'm planning to upgrade my free membership in projects part to premium annual plan which is 299$. So, what will happen if i decide later to upgrade to enterprise plan, am i going to pay as a new subscription (i.e. 599$ as it is from scratch), or i will pay only the difference between the two plans. There are times tasks are entered for a project that are really not part of the published project plan. How would you suggest when I export, the project plan, that I can exclude those lines that are not part of the plan? How would I identify them? Can I add Status to the export selection list?
feedback of newly created users
In the Admin section where you can add new user. I notice that it doesn't give an update of if the user has activated there account or not. Also it would be nice if we as admin could resend activation invite or update password manually.
Can client users create projects or propose projects?
I am looking into the different software available to manage the workflow for a marketing team. There is a requirement that the client would be able to create a project, it would automatically be sent to their supervisor for approval and once approved become and active project. Is there any way for this to be done either through the native app or via a custom webpage? Thanks!

Unable to add a new user as a Manager
I am unable to add a new User as a Manager. The only two available options I always have to select are Contractor and Employee. I understand that I should have more than that. Please see the screenshot of the list that I have to choose from. I would very much like to be able to add at least one user per project as the manager. Thanks, Kat

Hi, I would like a why to setup a project that has dependancies that are relative to each other. For example, if I have the following task list: 1 Assemble menu - Start Date Feb 20, 2009 2 Determine needed ingredients - Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 1 3 Build Shopping List - Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 2 4 Go Shopping -Duration = 1 day, dependancy = 3 From this, Zoho Projects should be able to automatically determine that: Task 2 starts on Feb 21 Task 3 starts on Feb 22 Task 4 starts on Feb 23

Cannot create dependency link from Predecessor to Successor task if the end-date of Predecessor = start-date of Successor.
I am unable to create a Dependency link when the End-Date of the Predecessor is the same as the Start-Date of the Successor. In the real-world, a Successor task can and should often start immediately, the same exact day, as the Predecessor's completion.
Completed tasks no longer visible
The completed tasks within my task lists are no longer visible; how do I rectify this?

Even use the designated field "status" to move tickets through a kanban style interface. This would not be hard becuase you have already done it in the "Tasks/Milestones" Zoho Projects Module. A single list is useless to work with.

Hi, I create some recurring tasks in my project template. Then, when I create a project by using this template, Zoho Project doesn't copy the recurring options. My task buttons not allowing to check
on my task, the priority, time, and status checkboxes are not allowing me to check them, this has been working fine for over a month, now it only allows me to uncheck the boxes...I have admin rights as well.

Can I send reminders for over dated tasks automatically in Zoho projects? Any ideas? e.g. I have a task whose end date is 23/10/2013, so an email is sent to ASSIGNEE of this task automatically saying something like that task due date has been elapsed.
