Manage Users redesigned as Users
Manage all users from the Users tab in Zoho Projects. Located on Project's left navigation pane, it is divided into Portal Users, Client Users, Customers, Teams and Resources. Admins and managers can invite, record and update portal, client, customer and contacts data directly from the Users tab. Their permissions can also be viewed and modified from this tab just like the Profiles permissions section in the Set Up page.
User Category: Customers
The Customers tab is for recording organization level details of client company to which client users and contacts can be added.
For example, when running a Medical Camp project for Helders Corp, add Helders Corp as the Customer associated to your Medical Camp project. Invite their management staff as client and their appointed doctors as contacts on to the customer Helders Corp. The management staff as client can stay updated on the project progress and the doctors as contacts can be reached out when medical expertise is required. This enables easy collaboration and helps maintain distinctive client user and client company records.
User Layout for Portal User & Client User
The user layouts in Zoho Projects enable customization. Create custom fields to record data specific to the project. Differentiate Portal User details from Client User details with defined layouts.
