Hi, Could we add the possibility to send a candidate to a client or a hiring manager even without relating the candidate to a specific job? In our reality of searching for great Talent when we find one we need to send him to our client or manager for review or meeting even if we don't have a job opening. It will happen when: We receive a spontaneous candidate's resume that doesn't correspond to any of our active jobs. OR When we are viewing a candidate associated to a specific job that we are not retaining but we feel that he could be interesting for another hiring manager and we would like him to meet the candidate anyway... Might be interesting to add the choice by adding a value "no specific job" in the mandatory field for the Job related or to get this field non mandatory in a Specific template email fo Submit to Client or manager - for spontaneous candidate. These are some suggestions, i'm sure you can find a way! Thank you for taking this request seriously! Nicole Tellier

I agree. It will be nice to select a hot list and send it to hiring managers.

Thanks for writing in.

We understand your requirement, However since the relativity between a client and a candidate record can only be established by associating the candidate to a job opening of the client, we currently do not have the option to perform a client submission without the selection of an associated job within Zoho Recruit. We will take this as a feedback and forward it to the knowledge of our product development team to further look into the possibilities of including the feature in our upcoming updates.

I 100% agree!!!  We have candidates daily that we can submit to clients that are not related to a specific Job the client has.   Our agents are forced to manually email and not able to use the ZOHO tracking functions....  

And when we ask if there is a workaround, the answer is no.  We have alot of candidates like this.  It is only common sense.   Client online career websites allow candidates to apply without a job, but we can not with Zoho Recruit.   Most clients do not advertise Doctors on career job boards and neither do we, because they do not look on career websites.  Therefore, we submit doctors to our clients without postings... making us workaround the Zoho system.
