Time for an interesting hack this week !

Are you finding it difficult to switch tabs to follow up with your clients ? We got a solution to that.

Let's say, the administrator has set up the CRM in such a way that the leads get assigned to the sales reps and the lead’s link is sent through an email to their mailbox. The sales folks therefore have to go to their web mail and click on the link to open the lead inside CRM for follow up.

As a sales person, it is highly probable that you'll not access the lead instantly. You get to know that the lead is assigned to you only when you access your mailbox. Also, to access through your mobile notifications, you need to log into your mailbox in a new tab and access the lead from there. So this delays your accessing the lead. I am sure you agree that it is helpful to get notified from within CRM when there is an email on the lead creation, enabling instant access.

When you configure Zoho mail add on, you receive  an email magnet at the top right. This mail magnet notifies you when there are incoming emails from your Leads and Contacts inside CRM.

The email notification which you get from a workflow is from “notifications@zohocrm.com”. 

The hack breathes into this “notifications@zohocrm.com” alias and creates them as a lead or a contact in CRM.

Steps:

Go to Leads->Create new Lead->Give the name as “New leads”—>Give the email as “notifications@zohocrm.com” and save.

So, whenever there is an incoming email from notifications@zohocrm.com in your mailbox, it gets notified in the mail magnet. It is not necessary that you check your mailbox when you are logged into your CRM.
