Hi Zoho Projects Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I would like to submit a feature request regarding accessibility support in Zoho Projects, specifically in the context of Zoho One users.
Accessibility features (such as font controls and other accessibility options) are currently available in Zoho Projects only for standalone users, but not for Zoho One licence holders.
Moreover, even when Zoho One users access Zoho Projects directly (not via one.zoho.com)—using the standard Zoho Projects interface—the accessibility options are still not available.
This is particularly concerning because:
The interface is identical to that of standalone Zoho Projects users
There is no apparent UI or technical limitation preventing these features from being available
The restriction appears to be licensing-based rather than functional
This limitation has significant real-world consequences:
We have employees who are unable to use Zoho Projects due to the lack of accessibility features
This creates operational inefficiencies and limits team collaboration
This is not just a usability issue—it is a legal requirement for us to ensure accessibility across all systems we use.
Beyond compliance, accessibility is a fundamental principle. Restricting these features effectively excludes capable individuals based on system limitations rather than their abilities.
We would like to propose the following two-step solution:
Since this uses the standard Zoho Projects interface, there should be no dependency on Zoho One UI constraints.
Accessibility features already exist in Zoho Projects
Zoho One users cannot access them, even in the standard interface
The limitation appears to be licensing-related
This creates both legal and operational challenges
Thank you for your consideration and continued efforts to improve the platform.
Best regards,
Ram
