Enhancements in Social CRM, Module Customization and Automation!

We are pleased to announce the first bunch of CRM enhancements for the year! These include enhancements in Social CRM, automation and module customization. Read on to know what the updates are.

Introducing Social Permissions
Great news for social media marketing enthusiasts! Social CRM now gets its own Social Permissions section in the user profiles.

“Social Admin” is a new permission, which when enabled, will allow a user to set up social media accounts and manage other user profiles that have access to them. In other words, a Social Admin will have access to the Social Settings. If you have a social media marketer in your organization, you can enable the Social Admin permission for him/her.

Simply clone the Administrator or Standard profile, enable required Social Admin permissions and add your social media marketer to this profile and you are done!

More custom fields for the Enterprise Edition
As your business grows, so does your CRM. We understand that you may need to create more custom modules to meet your growing business needs. As announced on a previous post, the custom modules limits were revised just a short while back. Now we have also revised the custom fields limits!

The number of custom fields available for the Enterprise Edition has been increased from 300 to 500. The individual limits for each field type have also been revised accordingly.

Workflow Automation for Visits Module
If you have integrated your Zoho CRM account with Zoho SalesIQ, you may want to automate sales processes on the creation of a visit. This function is now possible in Zoho CRM.

You can automate mails, assignment of tasks, update fields, call web hooks and custom functions on the creation of visits.

However, note that the workflow rule can be triggered only on the creation of a visit. Other rule triggers such as “Edit”, “Field Update” etc are not available for a visit.
