Zoho CRM brings to you a bunch of updates in several areas including
workflow automation, Google AdWords integration, module customization,
Social CRM and webform integration. Read on to know what they are.
Configure workflow alert on event cancellation.
You can now configure workflow alerts on the cancellation of an
event. Say when an event is canceled you want a notification to be
sent to the contact or lead related to the event. You can now set a
workflow rule for the same by choosing "Cancel" as the
rule trigger.
Note that this is available only in the Events module. Also, when
an event is canceled, all the time based actions scheduled for the
event will not be executed.
Zoho CRM for Google AdWords now available in the
Professional Edition.
Google AdWords integration with Zoho CRM, which was available only
in the Enterprise Edition of Zoho CRM, is now opened for users of the
Professional Edition as well.

My Open Activities custom view introduced in the
Activities module.
The Activities module in Zoho CRM now gets another custom list
view by default - My Open Activities. This displays the open tasks,
calls and events of the Zoho CRM user in question.
Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition now supports a maximum of 30
custom modules.
We had announced in a
previous post that the
number of custom modules in the Enterprise Edition has been increased
from 5 modules to 10 modules.
In addition to that, the Enterprise Edition will now support a
maximum of 30 modules, but on a few conditions.
Over and above the minimum default of 10 modules, each
organization account will now get one additional module for every 10
additional user licenses.
For example, if you have 10 users, you will be able to
create 11 custom modules. (10+1)
If you have 20 users, you will be able to create 12
custom modules. (10+2)
If you have 50 users, you will be able to create 15
custom modules. (10+5)
If you have 100 users, you will be able to create 20
custom modules. (10+10)
If you have 200 users or more, you will be able to create a
maximum of 30 custom modules. (10+20)
The maximum number of modules supported in the Enterprise Edition
this way is 30.
Pin the My Posts and Tweets section in the Social tab
You may have noticed that in the Social tab, you had to always
click the Compose icon every time you wanted to view the My
Posts & Tweets section. Now you have the option to
pin it to your CRM view on the Social tab so that it stays as
part of the CRM view like any other stream.
Click on the Pin icon again if you want to unpin the section.
Now upload multiple files in your web-form.
So long, you were able to upload just one file on your web-form.
Now you can upload up to 3 files. However, the limits of the file size
remains the same. The file size of all the 3 files in total should be
under 20 MB.
