Enhancements to Motivator: Hierarchy-based targets, dashboard reordering, and more

Hope you had a great start to this new year!

Motivator is a great tool for motivating your team to achieve target goals and rewarding them with points or badges as they reach different milestones. You can define your own KPIs, set sales targets, create games, broadcast the progress in your TV channels, and much more.

We're here with a couple of enhancements to Motivator for Zoho CRM. Let's have a quick look at them one by one.

Show targets based on hierarchy
Understanding the privacy concerns related to targets set for different users, teams, or within your organization, we've introduced the option to show targets based on company hierarchy—role, or reporting to. Thus far, any user could view a targets' progress in your organization. With the latest enhancement, if you've enabled the option to show targets based on hierarchy, users can only view targets that are permitted to them based on the company hierarchy. For example, user targets will only be visible to the specific users and the individuals they report to, team targets will be visible only to the members of the specific team and those to whom the team leader reports, or whoever has higher role in the hierarchy, and so on.
Dashboard UI and functional changes

Reorder dashboard components: You can now reorder dashboard components per your requirements by simply dragging components within the dashboard while in edit mode before saving.
Dashboard editor: Upon choosing to edit a dashboard, you'll now be redirected to dashboard grid view. The options to add a component, save the dashboard, and edit the dashboard view are all available on the screen.
New sharing option for dashboards: Previously, you could set a dashboard's visibility as only me, everyone, or select specific users within your organization. With this enhancement, you can customize a dashboard's visibility to allowing sharing with select groups, roles, and roles and subordinates, along with individual users.

Additional options for KPI, target, and game menu
For the three dots of KPIs, targets, and games, we've provided additional options along with existing options to edit and delete. For example, in the case of KPIs, you can set a target, create a game, add to a dashboard, or add to a TV channel. You'll have similar options for targets and dashboards, as shown below.
Changes to TV channel
You can now rename a TV channel and modify the transition time right in the TV channel editor.
