How do I create a report that groups by month
How can I create a report that displays the number of new opportunities (for example) created each month?
In other applications I am used to seeing, for date fields, the ability to group them by day, week, month, or year. I cannot see any way to group the created.time.
This seems like a pretty basic function, so I'm sure I'm missing something.
Can anyone assist?

With the revamped Reports, the option to filter and sort the report using the groupings is available.
