Important enhancements in Data Encryption

We have rolled-out some important updates in field encryption. Given below are the details:
The field based data encryption provides a way to safeguard ones customer data in the CRM system. Data encryption already allows encryption of certain fields in the custom modules.
We have now extended this functionality to facilitate further possibilities.
The following updates have been made:
- Encryption is now allowed for the following standard modules Inventory, Campaigns, Solutions, and Cases.
- Following fields can be encrypted: Multiline (small), Date, Date-time, Currency, Decimal, and Long integer. Earlier only Single Line, Email, Phone, and Number fields were supported.
- Edition-wise limits are increased:
- Enterprise - 10 fields/module (old limit - 5 fields/module)
- Ultimate - 20 fields/module (old limit - 10 fields/module)
- For an encrypted field the below mentioned operators will be supported under criteria:
- Single line, Phone, Email, Small multi-line (character limit of 2000), Date, Date-Time, and Currency: is empty and is not empty
- Number, Decimal, Long integer: =, !=, is empty, and is not empty.
