Dear All,
Greetings!
We have a quick update on Segmentation in Zoho CRM. Let's go!
As you might know, Segmentation is a process of categorizing your customer records based on common patterns and behaviors. And, RFM is one such way to categorize customers based on their purchase recency, frequency, and monetary values. It helps you to understand your customers, assess their purchase pattern, and devise targeting techniques appropriately.
Now, for you to create a segment, you need to determine which module to segment and which module contributes to aid the segmentation.
For example, to segment customers based on revenue, you can choose Accounts module as segmenting module and Invoices as contributing module. This way, you can categorize your accounts based on the Invoice raised for them.
In a nutshell, segmenting modules are those modules with customer information and contributing modules are those modules with their transactional information.
Thus far, you were able to use different modules that belonged to CRM as contributing modules. Hereon, you can choose custom modules like invoices, sales orders, estimates, purchase orders, etc., created as a result of Zoho Finance Suite integration with your CRM organization, as well. This allows you to categorize your records using data from an external source.
P.S.:
-
You cannot deactivate your Finance suite integration, when you have an active Segmentation configured in your CRM.
That's about the update. For more information about Segmentation, kindly refer to our
