Recruitment doesn’t end with a successful hire. That’s usually when billing begins, and for most teams, that still means switching systems, re-entering data, and manually aligning numbers.
This disconnect between hiring and billing often leads to delays, duplication, and avoidable errors. With the Zoho Books/Invoice integrations, you can now handle billing right where hiring happens.
What you can do
Once enabled, you can generate invoices directly from job openings in Zoho Recruit using templates configured in Zoho Books or Zoho Invoice.
Relevant details such as client information and role-based revenue are automatically carried forward, reducing manual effort and ensuring accuracy.
Designed to reduce everyday friction
To help maintain clean and consistent financial records, the integration includes a duplicate check while syncing customers:
- Link existing customers to continue billing under the same record
- Create duplicate customers when you need to manage billing separately
When linking is enabled, you can also associate Zoho Recruit contacts with customers in Zoho Books, ensuring invoices are sent to the right recipients without additional mapping.
Why this matters
Instead of treating billing as a separate process, this integration connects it directly to your hiring process. The result is faster invoicing, fewer errors, and better alignment between your recruitment and finance teams.
You can enable the integration from Setup > Marketplace > Zoho, where both Zoho Books and Zoho Invoice are available. Once configured, a dedicated Invoices module will be added to your account, allowing you to start generating and managing invoices immediately.
