Two weeks ago, we brought to you many new features and enhancements. One among them was the enhancements of Zoho CRM plug-in for MS Outlook. Why not talk about it in detail in this forum post! 

Let's begin with the Microsoft Outlook 2013 support. Yes, you can now access the Zoho CRM Plug-in in your MS Outlook 2013 also for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Along with this, we've also added some very useful options that are available in all the MS Outlook versions. Here it goes:

Stay signed in to the Zoho CRM Plug-in
Every time you open MS Outlook, you need not sign in to the Zoho CRM Plug-in. You will be automatically signed in to the plug-in.

Automatic synchronization of contacts, tasks and calendar events from MS Outlook to Zoho CRM. 

'Allow the changes made in the Outlook contacts/tasks/appointments to reflect in Zoho CRM' - Select this option and all your contacts, tasks and calendar events will be automatically synchronized from MS Outlook to Zoho CRM.
Also, you can now specify the Folder and Category details in the Contacts, Tasks and Calendar tabs, separately.

• Add Email option  - Just one click, and the selected email will be added to the lead/contact in CRM.
  
  
• Automatically add outgoing emails  - On sending an email from MS Outlook, it will be automatically added to the matching contact/lead in Zoho CRM.
  

Now you must be wondering, to which record the emails will be associated for these two new options! The answer is - based on the specifications provided in the Mail Settings. These settings will tell you which record the email should be associated to.

The image here clearly highlights the mail settings we have in the Plug-in. Instead of searching the CRM record, you can leave it to the mail settings to automatically search and associate the emails to the leads and contacts in Zoho CRM.

Not just that, you can also check if the email is already added in your CRM account or not!
