Small talk in business communication - A smart way to connect and engage
Small talk is an informal and non-functional discourse or response that provides a sense of human touch to a conversation. The discourse can be of any type starting from greeting to sign off and more.
In SalesIQ, the Small talk module allows you to configure phrases and responses, which one or more Answer bots can use to converse with your visitors. You can define Small talk in the form of packages for various styles of conversations like Causal, Professional, Academic, etc. A customizable phrase-response set comprising of different categories of small talk such as greetings, personal, and support phrases is called a small talk package. Small talk packages can be very beneficial if your business runs across multiple domains requiring different conversation styles.
Key-features:
- Easy to set up: Small talks are effortless to configure. Just give your package a name and add phrases under their respective sections, and you are good to go!
- Versatile: You can have multiple packages that use Causal or Professional tone and use them to give a personality to your answer bots.
- Multiple responses to phrases to sound unique: Also, add multiple responses to a single phrase to make your bot sound genuine.
Quick tips:
- Use dynamic text in your responses to make the bots sound more personal.
- Duplicate an existing package to accelerate the process of creating new packages.
