Tip #26: Add new prospects through your incoming call pop-ups.

As part of our weekly Tips and Tricks series, we are back with a small tip about adding prospects to your CRM database faster.
If you've integrated your telephone provider in your Zoho CRM account, the calls that you make or receive inside Zoho CRM would have contextual business information. That way, you'd know details of any lead or contact who's calling you, before attending the call. But when a prospect who isn't in your CRM database calls you, you would get an incoming call pop-up from an unknown number.
After you attend the call from the unknown number, a (+) symbol would appear next to the number in the pop-up. By clicking on that, you could add the prospect as a new lead or contact during your conversation itself.
This would come in handy when the prospect gives you their business details and requirements over the conversation, and you need to quickly create a new record for them. This way, you could save a precious few minutes in your busy sales schedule!
