Hey everyone!
As part of our weekly Tips and Tricks series on using Zoho CRM, we are going to look at a very quick and easy tip on managing calendars today.
If you are using multiple Zoho products, you may be maintaining your calendar in each product. For example, you update your personal events in Zoho Mail, while you maintain your sales events in Zoho CRM.
However, note that these two calendars are separate. You may be assuming that these calendars are in sync as they come from Zoho. But just in case there are users who want to keep the calendars separate, we don't sync them by default unless a manual sync has been opted for, initially. If you want to sync them, follow the steps below. Otherwise, you can continue to maintain two separate calendars.
To enable calendar synchronization between Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail,
- Go to calendar.zoho.com
- Click Settings > Zoho Apps > select Zoho CRM.
- Click Synchronize.
That's it! All your events you create in either calendar with now sync with each other.
We hope this has been a useful piece of information. Do let us know if you have further questions.
------UPDATE-------
Please note that Zoho Calendar allows integration with many calendar apps. When you create an event in Zoho Mail, make sure that you select the Zoho CRM Calendar from the Calendar dropdown list. By default, your personal mail calendar is selected. If you don't switch to Zoho CRM Calendar, the event will not get synced on the other side. Similarly, select your calendar under Zoho CRM Calendar on the left pane to view your CRM events in Zoho Mail.
