This week, we’re diving into the Session Confirmation feature, which allows your remote customers to authorize access before a session begins—offering you more control, transparency, and peace of mind during remote support sessions.
Imagine you're supporting clients who must adhere to strict compliance standards, such as healthcare organizations regulated by HIPAA, or users whose computers you manage but prefer not to access without their explicit permission. This is where session confirmation proves invaluable. By enabling this feature, you provide clients with the control to approve or deny requests for remote access to their devices, which ensures peace of mind and trust.
Moreover, the feature can be customized to fit different use cases. Whether you're accessing a locked or logged-off computer or need to adjust the timeout settings to avoid accidental approvals, Zoho Assist allows you to fine-tune this feature according to your needs.Feature overview:
Message content customization: Personalize the session confirmation prompt to communicate clearly with your customers.
Locked and logged-off access: Choose whether to display the confirmation prompt on locked or logged-off computers.
Timeout settings: Set a custom time for how long the prompt remains active before it times out.
Check the box labeled Show confirmation at the remote end. Here, you can modify the timeout setting (in seconds) and customize the message displayed to your customer.
