Achieving a seamless way to collaborate has always been our aim. From introducing @mentions to tag people in your comments to a seamless integration between Zoho Writer and MS Word, to keep all your tracked changes intact during import and export; we've been working to give you the best possible experience!

The trend continues as we now extend the ability to enable Track Changes to all the collaborators (with read/write access) of a document. So, it doesn't matter if you are not the owner or the co-owner of the document, you still can switch on the track changes and make the edits in the document. We realized it was getting cumbersome for our users to send out requests to the owners to switch on track changes and wait until the  owner grants them permission. Now, we have made the process much easier  and any collaborator with whom the document is shared, can enable Track Changes and start making the edits.

While this eases up the process for the collaborators, the owners can still stay in control of their documents. When an owner or co-owner shares a document with Track Changes enabled, the collaborators won't be able to switch it  off, keeping the owner in control of the document.
