Unusual Activity Detected - Alert Message in Gmail

Updated - 15 Aug 2014

Hi All,

Gmail users, who have configured their accounts in Zoho might have received an alert regarding unusual activity detected. This is because of an IP address change during the maintenance activity at our end.  The POP accounts are now retrieving the emails without any issues.

  1. When you login to your Gmail account, you will see an alert as in the image below.
  2. Select the link 'Was it you', to review the IP address denoting sender1.zohomail.com (74.201.155.26/ 74.201.84.157/ 74.201.84.158 ).
  3. Select the option 'Yes. That was me' in the next screen.

Users may have received an email alert related to authentication failure. You may ignore the email alert, as the emails have started retrieving after the maintenance activity has been completed.

Please let us know in case you still have trouble in retrieving emails in Zoho Mail.

Thanks,
Ramya A
