Creating a campaign is now easier than ever before. The Zoho Campaigns integration for CRM has been revamped to simplify the process of sending email campaigns to prospects and customers.
Let me explain a little about Zoho Campaigns and the integration with Zoho CRM.
Zoho Campaigns is a platform that lets you create, send, track, and analyze your email campaigns. By integrating this platform with your Zoho CRM account you will be able to send campaigns to your leads and contacts directly from CRM.
So what's new here?
Set up the integration from CRM
You can now set up the integration and send campaigns from Zoho CRM. Previously, users had to set up a sync and then create a mailing list, and send the campaign from Zoho Campaigns. With these recent enhancements, you can do it all from Zoho CRM and avoid the hassle of switching between products.
If you haven't enabled this integration already, just go to Setup > Marketplace > Zoho > Zoho Campaigns > Enable and follow these steps to configure the sync:
- Select the type of sync: Periodic or Immediate.
- Sync the contacts or leads with the Campaigns mailing list.
- Map the CRM and Campaigns fields.
Note: For those of you who have already been using this integration, your existing syncs won't be affected and you can now create syncs from CRM as well as from Zoho Campaigns.
You are just one button away from sending campaigns now
You can forget the ZSC key as it is no longer required to configure the sync. The integration can be set up easily with just a click.
Five-stage Campaign process
For customers in the Enterprise edition and above, we have introduced a five step process that lets you send email campaigns from CRM and does not require you to sync the records with Zoho Campaigns first.
In the campaign's detail page, you can see the step-by-step process to send the campaign.
- Choose or create a Zoho Campaign template: You can select a pre-defined template or a custom template for the campaign.
- Add recipients: Select the leads or contacts to send the campaign to.
- Associate the recipients with the campaigns mailing list: Associate the recipients with the mailing list that has already been created in Zoho Campaigns or create a new mailing list.
- Send the campaign for review: The campaign is sent for review, which will be performed in the backend by the Zoho Campaigns team.
- Send campaign: On approval, the campaign can be sent to the selected recipients.
