Zoho Forms for Vertical Studio Subscriber Organizations | Zoho Vertical Studio | Announcements

We’re excited to introduce the Zoho Forms integration with Vertical Studio. This allows you to capture data using forms and send it directly to your Vertical Studio modules.
With this integration, form submissions can be used to create or update records, reducing the need for manual data entry.

You can now:
  1. capture form responses and automatically create or update records in Vertical Studio 
  2. map form fields directly to Vertical Studio module fields 
  3. pre-fill forms using existing Vertical Studio data 
Unlike other integrations, Zoho Forms integration is configured directly from Zoho Forms.

Availability and Requirements

  1.  Available for Vertical Studio subscriber organizations across all editions: Starter, Growth, and Scale
  2.  Requires an active Zoho Forms account.

How to enable the integration

Step 1: Enable Integration
  1. In Zoho Forms, navigate to Control Panel > Zoho Vertical Integration and click Enable.
  2. A consent window will appear listing the required permissions. Click Proceed to continue.

Step 2: Add Zoho Vertical Field to your Form
  1. In the form builder, go to Advanced Fields and select Zoho Vertical.
  2. Configure the field by selecting:
    1.  Vertical Studio application 
    2.  Module and layout 
    3.  Search type and search field 
    4.  Field mappings 

Step 3: Configure Integration Actions
  1. Go to the Integrations tab and select Zoho Vertical.
  2. You can define how form submissions interact with your application:
    1. Create new records
    2. Update existing records
    3. Add data to related lists


Key Highlights

  1.  This is not an org-to-org integration
  2.  A single Zoho Forms account can connect to multiple Vertical Studio applications
  3.  Each form can be linked to only one Vertical Studio application.
For example, a business using Vertical Studio across industries can have:
  1.  Real Estate Application -> Property Inquiry Form 
  2.  Healthcare Application -> Patient Registration Form 
  3.  Education Application -> Student Admission Form 
Each form is connected to a different application, but one form cannot connect to multiple applications.
