Dashboard Needed - Expert at Zoho Reports?
I own a marketing firm and we want to migrate many of our clients to Zoho. Our first client we want to move over needs a Dashboard built out. We would prefer not to have one of our in house people have to learn Zoho. Are any of you doing freelance agency work? Let me know joey@stickywrapper.com
Dependency hierarchy
Hi, At present the dependency view will only show linked tables in the hierarchy. Can this be changed to also show any dependant views please? One of the biggest pains is not being able to see which views depend on which data/query tables easily. Cheers, James

Not Able to View Underlying Data
Hello, I have embeded a Dashboard view within a company website. The Dashboard contains three summary reports.....when clicking to view underlying data.....the report opens up....but it is blank...... Updating tables with console tool that have different matching columns
Hi, we are starting to use the console update tool (CSVUploadConsole.bat) to upload CSV files/data to our tables. We need to update 3 different tables with different matching columns. There it is only one common_params.conf file where the ZOHO_MATCHING_COLUMNS must be defined, but this will work only for one table, and the other two tables have different matching columns. How can we define different matching columns for different tables? Since apparently it is not possible to add as a parameter
Importing data not importing date
I am importing from zoho creator into reports, and my Added Time column is not coming in, even though I have set the date format, it greys out the ability to change the import format to DATE, I have two other date columns which are importing fine, but these don't include time, just date.
Zoho Reports / CRM - Report on products in proposals/order confirmations
I would like to be able to report on products that have been included in proposals and order confirmations in Zoho CRM. For instance, for a given period report on how many times has a particular product been ordered. The result could be just a list of Accounts who made the order, the product ordered and the value of the product in the confirmation order. Is something like this possible? Zoho Reports - API - Limit on number of records in a page when importing into Zoho reports.
The API I'm using only allows a maximum of 500 records per page. Eventually I'm going to have 1,000's of records to import and currently I only get one page. I'd like to be able to have all the records stored in a single table. So far the only idea I have is to have a separate table per page and then have a function which combines all the separate pages into a single table. We have a database in Reports which contains monthly data for investments each of which has a unique identifier. This data is classified into different sectors, which we then analyse within Reports. We want to be able to reclassify this data using external data which would identify matches between our Zoho Reports database and the external data using the unique identifier - if there is a match of the unique identifiers then a new column would be created with the new classification. Error when importing URL
I get the following error when trying to import from URL. Error while reading the URL contents. Please verify whether the server (host machine) containing the URL is connectable. I know the URL works because I can paste it in a browser and see the information, so it is connecting to the host machine. I can't find any information regarding this error. Thanks, Dan

Report specific data formatting options Zoho Reports now allows you to set report specific formatting for data columns displayed in your reports. Till now you could set column formatting only in the Tables in which these columns are part of which was just inherited to every report that was created involving these columns. Hence it was not possible to change the formatting at the report level. The new reports specific formatting options addresses this limitation. You can set this using Setting section
Summarising Data
I have file in which I am trying to summarise the % allocated to each country. Most of the countries have distinct % allocations but for some reason a number of Countries have double entries and I can't work out when I use a summary table or a pivot table why the system is splitting some Country allocations into two.

Does Zoho Reports AUTOMATICÅLLY delete views when custom columns are changed?
We made a few changes to custom columns in our Contacts table in the CRM yesterday. All seemed fine. This morning when I went to continue working on the queries, it shows that MOST of my queries have been deleted. I suspect this has to do with the fact that the deleted columns are in these queries. But now I can't even open them, restore them, view the design. I had no warnings when changing the columns that this would DELETE related queries/views. Please advise. Or please work with us to restore.

I want a "<< previous" and "next >>" buttons on date range selectors
I find that I often want to quickly navigate to the next or previous month/quarter/year when I'm filtering by date range. Using the drop-down selector to choose the next or previous range is a pain. I want "<< previous" and "next >>" buttons that will decrement/increment the range selector. Any way to do this?

Paged Report Dashboards
We love almost everything about this service. However, we still have to create reports that go to stakeholders by hand in powerpoint or google presentations. Its a laborious copy and paste exercise of screenshots from zoho charts and dashboards and pasted into another medium that adds no value. I'd like to see another concept on zoho that supports a paged report idea. Creating custom 'custom ranges' and naming them

ZOHO Reports: Multiplying Weight of product by Quantity
Hello, I'm in Zoho Reports and running a pivot table of my sales line items which are products & each product has a weight associated with it. However if a customer is getting "3" of something, I want the weight to be multiplied by 3 and the Report isn't doing that. How do I build a formula like this in a pivot table report? Let me know, thanks! **For example, "1" Lookout Rock weighs 11,500 lbs. But we have two of them & want the weight of both in the Grand Summary.
Layout and design of widgets in dashboards
I really want to be able to show 6 or 8 widgets in my weekly dashboard, and it's important that I be able to export the final dashboard to PDF. The difficulty I'm having is getting the widgets to lay out in any way that looks graphically acceptable. For instance, I cannot understand what conditions lead to text wrapping of the title. Is there a way to left justify both the title text and the metric text? I've been unable to find any documentation for how to manipulate the widgets in dashboards.
Permission Denied for Exporting Created Reports
When I try to export my created report the interface tells me that my permission is denied even though I have complete admin access. I have to be able to export my reports in order to communicate to my company. How can this be fixed? This is what pops up: "Sorry! You cannot export this report because you do not have the permission to export one or more modules that are part of this report."
Fault Displaying pivot table - misses out first few hundred rows
Hi I have created a table in Zoho - My account - Pace - No Training Arranged. When i run this table on Zoho i can see it start on row 1 - when i embed the report in an iframe it starts at row 197 and there is no way to see the preceding 196 entries (the i frame has enough space to show all the entries). I'm doing what I've always done and can't see any settings that have changed. I attach a view from both Zoho and the embedded table. Any help would be appreciated. Joe
Have Inline Display of Charts and Tables in a Scheduled Email
As a business owner and manager when we get hundreds of emails a day it is difficult to open attachments from our mobile device. These KPI reports we get are so important, but really difficult to deal with when there are various attachments. I am suggesting to simply also include the reports inline within the body of the email for at least tables, if not charts and tables. You can still include the attachment of the report as a supplement. Can this be implemented in the near future.
A limit to the number of SQL tables subqueries?
Hi Zoho, Is there a limit to the number of SQL-created subqueries that can be used. I have no trouble making SQL based tables and then basing other queries off of them. However, I have written a series of subqueries, that are joined and suddenly it no longer seems to recognize the name of the table or query. I've checked dozens of times and tried renaming but still no luck even when I try a simple iteration. For example: SELECT "qryTestGreaterThanFour".CONTACTID, Tasks."Due Date" FROM Tasks LEFT
Account record duplpicates
When we run a report we created under Accounts and Contacts we are getting duplicates of account records. When we search in Zoho on accounts, we don't see duplicate account records. All of our account records have been entered manually, so it shouldn't be a data dump issue. Could someone please advise how this might have happened and how we can fix it. Thanks!

Custom Sorting in Pivot Tables Zoho Reports now allows you to sort the Pivot Table columns in a custom order that you define. Custom sorting was a feature that is already available in Charts, which has been extended to Pivot tables now. You can find the Custom Sort order item under the "Sort" menu in Pivot Tables. Invoking the same will allow you to customize the order in which the values of the columns are to be sorted. Setting the order and applying it will sort the column values accordingly.

I have a spreadsheet I've imported as a database. There is a column "order_id" and there is a column "last_name". I need users to be able to easily search by last name (for which there might be several different customers with the same last name), but then immediately click on the order id value in that result to get to the right customer's orders.
