Having problem with getYear()
Hi, I want to define a function that returns the no. of row count where the year in A_Date (Date field) is equals to the current year. I tried using getYear() but upon saving, I'm getting undefined and null. Is there something wrong with my codes? Margin problems when saving HTML view as a PDF
I have an HTML view that I have enabled the "PDF Header" option. As I expected, the PDF goes over a number of pages, but the problem I have is no margins (top, bottom, right, left) at all on the page. Any ideas how to set the margins?
Null to Zero - can't seem to ge this to work.
I am having difficulty converting null to zero. I posted this question yesterday and was given a response but I cannot get it to work. In a nutshell I have a formula field (InsertCost) that contains 2 fetched fields (decimal) that I need to divide.I have set the input.pubcost and input.allocation default values to 0. Show additional fields after radio button selection
Hi Everyone, I am trying to make 4 extra fields show when one of my radio button selections is made. It is actually for Credit Card information. Annoying Code Comment issue
Hello, Let me start by saying the Creator application builder system and deluge code are absolutely amazing. I have been able to build an powerful application from scratch in less a month. My question is related to being able to write comments in my deluge code for readability. When I write a comment right after an "IF" state state the IF statement somehow absorbs the comment to within the "}". this is very annoying and makes commenting code with a lot of conditional statements hard. Unexpected error due to improper script.
I am trying to view my scripts under https://creator.zoho.com/essistmgmt/assets/edit/function/ Sometimes I get this error. When I refresh the page a few times, the error message goes away and I can see my script code. Can you please investigate why I am seeing the error?
Passing forms as parameters
I have found the help page at https://www.zoho.com/creator/help/script/form-objects.html#Adding_form_object_as_argument_to_the_function and tried to replicate it but am experiencing difficulties I created a function that has a form as an argument When I execute the form via the script builder and randomly select an ID, it works as expected. When I try to insert it into the form actions by calling the function and passing input.ID, I get the following error message. Why is it not working as expected
Linking Fields in Creator to Fields in Project
Is it possible to get data from Zoho Project (let's say a start date) and display it in a Creator database? They would have to be linked by a common record id or number. Something like a join.

Custom script code disappeared
I was working on the following function udf_generateids.convert_numeric_to_alphanumeric_code and when I opened the function, it ended up seeing string udf_generateids.convert_numeric_to_alphanumeric_code_896426000014261704(int value, int digits, string code) { } My code disappeared. API Edit Multiline via XML RPC
I'm trying to edit a multi-line field via the XML-RPC API. When I ADD a record, the format is: <field Name='myfield> <value> the value which can be multiline </value> </field> However, in the EDIT spec, I have to format it like this: <field name = 'myfield' value='some value'></field> This format, where the value is a parameter of the field node, and not a separate node, doesn't seem to support multi-line. Any suggestions on how to work around this problem?
Excel / Creator integration
Wondering if it is possible to create an excel page that takes the data directly from Creator? or any other suggestions to this question... I want to print ID cards from the database collected through Creator. Bug in Usage Limit and Buying Addons
We're on the Professional plan, which gives us 20,000 records. Today we received an error staying that we've reached our limit, and the dashboard indicated that we'd already exceeded our limit by 1,194 records. So we bought an addon for 5,000 records, but now for some reason our dashboard says that our quota is 40,000 (instead of 25,000) and that we have still exceeded our limit by 1,194 records. Allow Administrative Users to remove their own Delete and Bulk Edit privileges
BACKGROUND: The system does not currently allow Administrative Users to limit their own ability to Delete or Bulk Edit selected records. This means that operating an app while logged in as Administrator risks unintended deletions or bulk changes. The only current way to work around that is to create a second Zoho identity and share the app with oneself with the attendant extra work of sharing and setting up quasi-delete procedures using check boxes and filters. Cannot Locate Duplicated App
Using the new-ish interface I have duplicated one of my applications so as to maintain an unadulterated version should I need one after coding forward. The interface provides a yellow tag that claims the app is being duplicated ("Duplicating . . . "), but I never see the duplicated app. Where the heck is it?

I'm probably just being a clueless newbie, but...
I keep getting repeated choices on my checkboxes and multi-selects. A choice will appear several times in a row when using the form, but only once while editing it, so I can't delete the duplicates. Even if I move the affected choice, the duplicates remain. They disappear if I delete the choice and re-enter it, but that's extremely irritating and time-consuming. There must be an easier way to deal with this. Is there?

The case for worry is that the same feature works on another account but not the one where I want it to. Easy way to define variables over forms
I have a few variables that are defined under inputs, however, these variables are not defined over the entire form. Although it is possible using another input field, I really don't want to have multiple disabled inputs for no reason. I want to define a variable over the entire form. Is this possible?
