WebForm To Send Data to Existing Record ? aka in SQL as "UPDATE"
Hi Zoho Community, I'm familar with Zoho CRM Webforms but as far as I know, webforms can only create a new record in our CRM database. QUESTION : Is there a method in which a webform can UPDATE a record in zoho CRM ( given I have the record ID ) ? Can I modify my form code to update an existing record? I refer to my SQL and PHP experience where I'd just send an UPDATE to the database. If this is not the right approach, please point me in the right direction. .... or is this just not possible ?
Setting up Zoho
We have been using the free version of Zoho for quite awhile, and I'd like to figure out how to make sure Im utilizing all of the features available. removing Fields
I have created a number of additional drop down choices in the Type field within the Deals Module. I decided to remove a few of them which I did and they no longer appear in Zoho CRM. However the fields I deleted are still available in Zoho Reports when I create a User Filter using the field Type. I have refreshed my data in Reports so it isn't that. Is there somewhere else I need to go to delete them

Importing Database CVS - Industry field
Hello, I am trying to import a CVS excel database. First, I want to make sure that this important field is going to take action in my CRM under Zoho and need to create a field possibly using INDUSTRY drop-down ? to specify the data origin and to find it later on on Zoho. Help needed with Custom Deluge Script
I need to create a workflow which will automatically update a date field with a date based on another field date (which has been generated by a formula field) plus a given number of days. In this case 344days. I can work out the trigger part and validation conditions however I think I need a deluge custom script to complete this and am having great difficulty in writing one. I created a report under account and contact reports with columns for Account Owner, Account Status, Account Name and Billing City. When I run the report all the relevant information appears. I want to put the report in order by Account Owner. When I click on the Account Owner label all the records for each Account Owner are grouped together. creating account reports problem
I created an Account and report with the columns Account Name, Account Status, Account Source When I run the report it displays each Account name and Account Status multiple times. Using Full Name in Web Form
In an effort to shorten our Web Form I'd like to use Full Name rather than First Name & Last Name. I figure I can just separate it from there to populate First Name & Last Name (with a Custom Function if necessary). Or, perhaps it can be done during the form submission itself? Bug? Trouble with editing fields outside of edit mode.
You should be able to edit fields on Zoho without going into edit mode. For example you should be able to hover over the due date field, and it will show you a little pencil icon that you can click on in order to choose a new date. Usually this works properly, but sometimes when I hover over the date, the pencil icon will show up a line and 1/2 below. See the picture attached to this message. Of course, when I move my cursor to click the pencil icon, the pencil icon disappears before I can get there.

Send contacts to another module.
Hello In our company, 10% of the leads we upload are disconnected numbers or sometimes people that dont want our product and tells us to call back in a few months. We grab those leads and we send them to a custom made module called Future Sales. Right now, i just cant find a way to send a lead to that custom made module, the only thing i can do is convert the lead to a contact. Formula Field - Telephone and Cellphone - Contacts
Hi, I'm using ZOHO CRM PROFESSIONAL and inside quotes I have JUST ONE field to insert phone number. Some contacts they have just Cellphone (Engineers) and othes just regular Landlines (Administrative people). I've created a field called "Quotes Phone" and i need to create a formula inside this field... "IF CELL PHONE IS EMPTY USE LANDLINE IF NOT USE CELL PHONE".. Field(s) not available for Mass Update
We have a commonplace situation in which one of our clients has changed the name of their company. I thought of using Mass Update on the several Contact records within that organization. It was very easy to select as criteria Account Name = "X", but when I proceeded to the Mass Update section, "Account Name" was not one of the fields I could select in the list box to modify. I don't know if this is just a complete oversight, or if someone somewhere thought there was a good reason not to include

I am building an external app for a client. They have added to the Accounts records an "Affiliate Partner", which is really the renamed the Vendor Name. I can get individual Account records by Account Name and I can get Vendor records by the Affiliate Email. What I can't do is get a list of Accounts buy Affiliate. OSX Outlook Add-On - Add Email Not Working
I currently have the Outlook Add-On (v1.4) installed on my Mac. Whenever I attempt to add an email from Outlook to CRM, it doesn't seem to work although I get a success notification. I am logged in, and the add-on is performing the look-up within the CRM as I can see the account which the email address is associated with.
