How to configure a rule to prevent a Lead not approved creates an activity?
Hi, I created a rule for Leads Import. During import I opted for `Approve Leads'. The rule creates an activity for each Lead that I have not still approved / released. It is possible to avoid this behavior in the Free Edition version? I realized that if I do not approve the Lead, and I remove the Lead, the activity is also removed. (right) I want to use the 'Approve Leads' function to release Leads in on-demand mode, then at the time of release, Zoho_CRM would create activity for execution. I'd appreciate

How to handle accounts that go out of business or are no longer going to purchase?
How do people usually handle Accounts that go out of business, or for some other reason will never purchase again? On one hand I would like to keep the info around so we know what happened, but there isn't a built-in "Out-of-Business" or "Dead Account" status that I've found. Thanks, John

Hello There, Is have my Gmail mail account sync via IMAP with Zoho CRM. I'm starting to receive answer to some mail i have sent before starting to use Zoho, and in general to receive mail from new contact. Is there a way to create a lead with some automation rule as we receive a new mail from a contact which is not already in our lead list? Thanks
Setting a picklist default for custom field on the webform, default not working...
So, I created a custom field in the module for a pick list, and told it which choice I wanted to show up as the default under the choice "Select default value". I then went to create a web form, and used this custom pick list as one of the fields in the web form. However, when I look at the preview for the web form it does not use the default choice I specified, instead it shows the value "-None-" instead of the default value I specified when I created the custom field. Any suggestions?

Automation Rule that triggers when a lead is converted.
Hello, We are considering moving to Zoho CRM and are currently testing it to make sure our requirements can be met. I need a way to track what lead (LEADID) an account (ACCOUNTID) was converted to. I couldn't see that information anywhere and furthermore I need to be alerted when that lead is converted to an account. Cannot see my mails sent with Outlook365
I configured an IMAP account hoping to be able to see all emails received or sent with my outlook client but it doesn't seem to work. I only see the ones I received in my inbox. Also tried bcc, no success. Any suggestion appreciated. Thanks Thierry

Hi, I have installed Outlook plug-in for Zoho crm. And i have synced contacts from zoho crm in outlook. Now I want to sync email activities in these both. Means When I send email from Zoho CRM, It should aslo be listed in Outlook, and If I send email using outlook, it should be in email related list in zoho crm contact object. How I can do this? My Company Logo has been Replaced by a CRM Plus logo... why?
I'm a CRM plus user and it looks like updates have been done. Before lunch my logo was showing. After lunch my company logo no longer shows on any of the zoho products. In zoho CRM it has been replaced by a "CRM Plus" logo It's highly unprofessional yet not unusual for zoho to roll out defective updates without telling anyone Has this happened to anyone else??
Secondary Sorting of Leads ?
Is there a way to add/change the secondary sorting parameter for leads ? For example, we have our lead pool sorted primarily by Lead Status. So our lead lists all "Uncalled" leads at the top, then "No Answers", etc. Say we have 20 uncalled leads at the top of our list. Those uncalled leads don't seem to be sorted in any specific way. Can I add a secondary sorting parameter to make them sorted by time/date, so newest "Uncalled Leads" are at the top?

9/16/2014 problem in Zoho CRM user's Call log activity is not showing in Accounts or Contacts screens We have multiple users where all logged calls are no longer showing in individual contacts or accounts tab. I am the systems admin an we have NOT changed anything in ZOHO logging a call today is not showing in the Accounts or Contact screens.
Events - When editing the Description, it corrupts the text
We put text in the Description which shows up in the 'canned' template invitation to participants. If we click the 'Edit' link to open up the text window the description text gets corrupted with the "See More" text. Results after clicking the Edit link next to the description (not the Edit button at the top of the page where it should read "and analyze a test...." It is inserting the 'See More'into the body of text. This needs to be fixed like now or yesterday!
Fetching all the modified Notes
Hello. Is there any way of fetching all the modified Notes using API? In "getRecords" method there is a "lastModifiedTime" and this works great for Contacts or Leads, but not for Notes as it's not a module. The only way of fetching Notes I know of is by using the "getRelatedRecords" method but this method must be called for every single Contact and Lead separately in search of modified Notes. This quickly exhausts the API calls limit. If adding a Note to a Contact would change the Contact's modification
Big Deal Alert Issue

Hi Everyone, I believe this will be an easy fix but don't seem to be able to find the answer. Currently, underneath a record (Lead, Account, Contact) i currently have a standard set of quick-access fields: - Notes - Attachements - Open Activities - Closed Activities - etc. I would like to be able to manage the quick access fields shown and manage the order as well. Hi, I have setup a free CRM account and wanted to test the features. In Users & Permissions there is an option to edit the module-level permissions. I wanted a sub user to only view and create contacts, however once the change was made the sub user can not access any contact denials al all. is there another step i need to take?
Some of my clients are not receiving my emails
I have sent lots of clients emails via Zoho CRM and lots of them are complaining that they are not receiving them so I end up sending it to them not using zoho, they seem to get these. I have spoken to Zoho Support about this issue loads of times and they say no problem exists and all my emails have been delivered. I understand sometimes email end up in junk mail so may be missed, but this can not be the case for every single one Is anybody else having this problem?
