Zoho CRM Outlook plugin keeps disappearing and reappearing
The Zoho toolbar in my boss's Outlook intermittently disappears as though it had been uninstalled. However, it will usually reappear the next day and stay there for a week or so before disappearing again. Any idea why this might be happening and how to fix it? I have a potential customer looking to purchase CRM for 60 to 150 users. They have had various internal apps written which don't work. I am currently going over a checklist of requirements and am setting up a test account. I am struggling with the following: Select a customer or many customers, send a mail merge from Word, (or Zoho Writer) and keep a record of that letter and its content linked or attached to the corresponding customer(s) This is basically the same functionality as a sales orderCalendar Sync future dates only?
I have my Outlook folders including my calendar set to archive every 60 days. When I sync the calendar using the plugin events that have been archived in Outlook are deleted in Zoho. I'd like these items to stay in Zoho, so that I have a log for instance of all the meetings I've had with a client. I can manually uncheck all the past items that I don't want to be deleted in Zoho, but I believe I'd have to do this every time I sync? It would be much better if I could just say only sync events thatMS Outlook error messages

I've tried invane to setup the MS/Outlook plugin. I've downloaded the plugin AdventNet_ZohoCRM_OutlookEdition When I run it it does not install instead I get a message that tells me it will uninstal th plugin ? So I let it uninstall it, but even that doesn't work ? So I tried uninstall from control panel and that doesn't work either ? I'm looking to automate syncing of Outlook Tasks and Calendar so that they sync once per day, either when I open or close Outlook, or it could be done at a specific time per day. Greetings, Can anyone help. I paid for the Outlook Plugin, so I can be easily syncing my contacts and emails from Outlook & Zoho CRM easily. Unfortuntaely I have had problem loading the plugin. When I first installed it, and tried to log in, it kept showing the following error message "Error while initializing the logfile", even though the password and username are correct. I uninstalled the plugin, but it did something weird to my PC as I was unable to reboot. I then did a clean sweep and a SystemCardscan & Outlook Plug-in
Does anyone else use Cardscan to scan their cards into Outlook? I have been having trouble when I try to sync Cardscan to Outlook, then also sync Zoho CRM Outlook plugin. For some reason, it appears that having both of these programs sync with Outlook causes them to conflict. If I sync with Cardscan, then the Zoho Plugin thinks that many of the contacts have been updated when indeed they have not. Is there a remedy for this? Anyone else experience this? On the creation form is: " 2 Fields Selection Select the field(s) to be displayed in the web form"" I had to develop few very symilar forms then I "selected fields to be displayed" only on first form that i treated as a template - becouse i knew that rest of forms will have same fields - I genereted next forms without fiels only to copy KEY of the form and change in first form that I used as aCan contacts be uploaded to a different directory or folder?
I want to download my contacts to clean up some of the data (>1500 contacts). I am concerned about uploading them when I am done. Can they be uploaded to a new folder, and then I can delete the old folder? Thanks WFLHelp Understanding the Plugin
We are new to Zoho CRM and the Outlook Plugin. Currently a couple of us are testing the system and having some trouble understanding it. I have uploaded some of our database to Zoho CRM. I can sych using Outlook. One other person has an empty Outlook Contact file. He is trying to download what I have uploaded from Zoho to his Outlook contact file. Nothing happens. It says there are no changes. He has tried switching between Outlook Rules and Zoho rules but gets the same result. Any ideas?When syncing with Outlook plugin, how do I sync the same contacts with multiple users?
All the contacts in our Zoho CRM database were created by user X. When I log in as user Y using the Outlook plugin and sync contacts, it reports that there are no contacts to sync. When I log in as user X, it happily syncs all the contacts. How do I sync all the contacts with all the users? Thanks!window is opening inside itself (screen shot attached)

I synced some contacts last week, but today I tried to add more and it's not finding the new people I added. It just says there are no changes. I tried using the "Mark as Zoho" button and also manually setting the Zoho category. I uninstalled (deleting the "data folder") and reinstalled with no effect. Some syncs will freeze half way through the contact scan, and then recover, which is how it worked last week. But today some syncs scan smoothly without giving me a "not responding" message --Outlook plugin not transferring account addresses
Has anyone had issues with the Outlook plugin not transferring account addresses and phone numbers to CRM? I just entered a bunch of contacts and accounts into Outlook and ran synch, but that information isn't showing up in Zoho. It's quite frustrating because it's much easier to do the data entry in Outlook but it's still a chore. And now it looks like I'll have to do it again. I'm using Outlook 2007 SP2 on Windows XP SP3. Hi My outlook plugin appears to be disabled and I cant get it working again! After installing it, it seem to be causing a few issues and crashed outlook a couple of times. An error message then popped up in outlook asking if I wished to disable the plug in, which I did (as I needed to send an urgent email). This appeared to make outlook stable again, but I can work out how to try turning the plug in back on! The plug in manager does not seem to have Zoho listed and it akes no difference if"Choose contact folder for synchoronization" doesn't work
In the Outlook plug-in preferences, it gives an option to set a specific folder for synchronization. I set this to a sub-folder within Contacts, and it shows stably in the Preferences dialog box. However, whenever I do a sync, it does the sync with the main Contacts folder, and not the sub-folder that is specified. Is this a bug in the plug-in, am I doing something wrong, or is there a work around?Plug-in Will Only Sync ALL Contacts, Not Just the Zoho Contacts
In my initial sync from Outlook to Zoho CRM, I have several Outlook Contacts marked as "Zoho" in the Categories. When I try to sync Contacts via either plug-in bar option, it tries to sync ALL 720 of them instead of just the Zoho Contacts. Has anyone else seen this? Hi, I've been trying the outlook plugin for CRM. One thing I can't do is see the filed "related to" in outlook. It means, I see the task, (for example, some tasks are generated automatically through workflow - "send email in 3 days") but I have no ideia who this task belongs to: Sales order, Account, contact. We are new to Zoho CRM and using the Outlook toolbar. Several of us are testing the system. I have uploaded part of our database to Zoho CRM and the synching works fine for me. The other person is trying to synch and have the data from Zoho download to his Outlook. He switches off between Zoho rules and Outlook rules but each time it tells him that there are no changes. Hello, My Outlook Plugin won't let me log in. After the single-sign-on transition, the login form says "you must specify a valid username and password" -- even though I am using the same username and password that still work on the website. As of Monday, my Outlook Plug-In is not functioning. Whenever I attempt to Log-In, I get an error message: Zoho CRM Outlook Edition You must specify a valid username and password. I have not modified my username or password, other than the SSO Migration change that was required at log-in on Monday. However, I have tried to use various log-in combinations, all to no avail. I am using the Outlook plug in and when I try and add an email to a contact and search for the last name of a person it only brings up one person e.g. a single result and I am not able to display more than once person to add the email to, which btw is not the person I am searching for but the person that is displayed does have the same last name. As a $alesforce user moving to zoho, I thought their outlook plugin was slow but I have just set up zoho plugin and it took 6 hours to sync 2500 tasks and then it is really slow to sync after the intial sync then the same with the calendar, i find it so slow it is almost unusable and a deterrant to commit to zoho. Hi all, I'm a brand new Zoho software user and today I've installed Zoho CRM plugin to Outlook. The installation went without problems, the taskbar is visible. But when I try to enter 'Preferences' from the 'Zoho CRM' menu, the Outlook crashes and asks if I want to send details to MS. ;) Can you support me with any ideas what the purpose of such a problem can be?
