Can the Priority and Status picklists be customized?
In Zoho Projects can I customize the Prioirty lists within a task. Right now it show Low, Medium and High. I would like to customize it into 5 levels. 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. I also want to customize the status to be. Not Approved, Approves, Not Started, Started, Completed, Tested, Closed.
How to create template for Zoho Projects Timesheet export
Timesheet in Zoho Projects is great with a lot potentials. I'm trying to make this automated way so that I could export timesheet in Excel format and send to clients to sign. Hi Zoho Projects, I'm programming and testing Zoho Projects API. I have got apikey, also got the ticket following the instructions. However, when I try to invoke getportals service, I receive 6501 error (Input Parameter Doesnt Match the Pattern Specified). Can anyone shred some light on this? I have seen several posts that refer to going into the milestone section and somehow reordering them from there.. Scheduling a Meeting across Timezones is not working
Hello, I have looked through this forum for an answer but not yet found one. Please help me resolve this problem: I have people in multiple timezones working inside a Zoho Project. When I schedule a meeting for 7pm my time (Eastern Daylight Time), it appears on everyone's calendar as 7pm. Even though I have taught them to configure their timezone in their profile correctly. Hi there, I have several projects. Each have their own Bug identifier letters. For example for project A I have PA as bug identifier and the bugs are named PA1, PA2, etc. I'd like to know if there's a way I can create the bug's URL based on the bug number (PA1). Import us users from zohoCRM to zohoProjects - failed, despite there was active and confirmed account
I have setup a project in zohoProjects and also I have added CRM to the suite. Being loged in to both zohoCRM and zohoProjects I have tried to import an user from CRM to Projects. The user account was active and confirmed, but it didn't get imported. The system message said 'No users to import from this CRM account.' Is there a bug? Thanks, JD

It would make SO much tense to have the ability to create recurring tasks...things that come up weekly and need to be "checked off". I mean, right now we can just leave it up a task and not give it a deadline, but that makes it hard to see just what needs to be done on a weekly basis. Thanks!

Wiki versus Forum
I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what the difference is between a Wiki and the Forums, and how people would use them differently. Because I have no understanding of the concept of a Wiki, I've been having our team use the Forums section as a way to record important workflow procedures. I'm guessing there's a way users do that with a Wiki, but I just don't understand the pro's and con's of how to use it. Can anyone help me understand the concept of a "Wiki" a little better? Thanks

Email Notifications of Project do not carry the attachement's link
Email Notifications that are sent out for a project whenever a new document or file is added, should also have the link of the file uploaded in it. This will allow a user to download the file directly from the mail OR get redirected to the URL on Zoho where he can download the file after logging into it. Bug Tracker Business Rules Enhancement
It would be grand if we cold set rules for specific actions associated with a ticket. Say something like this IF current user != AssignedTo && current user.role != Admin && current user != Reporter && current action == comment && NotifyReporter == true Set AssignedTo = Current User. or IF currentAction == comment && NotifyReporter == true Set status == WaitingOnCustomerResponse I can see so many uses for this type of addition to an already wonderful system.
Task Status
Currently the only way to indicate that a task has been completed is to mark the status "completed". I would like to have other status options, such as "Left Message" that mark the task as completed. Is this possible?
New Field: Last Modified By
Would like to see a field for last modified by. It would truely help to see who last touched this ticket. Expecially when I have people asking the reporter questions and not assigning themselves the ticket. Maybe that's a work flow thing but a true history of the ticket would include all people who have been assigned or have modified this ticket. But for starters id be happy with a Last Modified By. Sharing task status or Gantt chart with non-project members
I have tasks for my department of three people, and Zoho is working fine for that. For now I'm evaluating the free version. I'd like for everyone in my organization to be able to view my department's tasks and statuses so that they will know when we can get to other projects. However, the project URL just takes me into a login page. Is there a way to let non-users view a project, or export the information in a web-based (not csv) format? Thanks for your help.
Move multiple files and other improvements
I noted a year ago this was requested and it's on the implementation schedule. We're a new project user and it sure would be nice to send an email containing 10 files to upload and then MOVE them into a folder. So, we have to use the uploader so that we can file off batches of files. OR make it to where you send 10 files via email it checks the subject line and if the subject happens to be the same as any folder for that project it sticks them in there. "Email My Activities" not working
Hi, I recently run into this issue where one of my colleagues Zoho Projects account stops sending the "work task reminder" to the user. The last notification mail received is on 27 May 2011 but no changes are made to the settings. I even tried to update the reminder time for a few times but still did not receive any mail. Anyone has an idea what went wrong and how to fix it? Thanks.

Regarding information on dash board
At the moment when somebody logs to zoho, he can see all his task once he select the project. I think a user can work on many project at a time. So when he log into zoho projects, the dask board should show his days tasks, milestone, his meeting for that particular day and may be for the next day. ( Something similar to the dashboard in microsoft in outlook 2007) What is point of showing all his project. he is supposed to work on task alloted to him for that particular day and has not to worry

Hello, according to your Zoho Projects API doc the format of the TaskLists xml is supposed to be containing multiple TaskListDetail sections within one TaskListDetails section: <response> <result> <TaskListDetails> ... <TaskListDetail> task 1 details.... </TaskListDetail> <TaskListDetail> task 2 details.... </TaskListDetail> ... </TaskListDetails> </result> </response> But what we see is multiple TaskListDetails sections, each containing only one TaskListDetail.

Hi, First, I think the API doc for getting task notes is incorrect. I think it missed the tags encapsulating a list of TaskNoteDetail sections.
