Managing Projects community expectations
As a Projects paying customer, I am very attentive to developments. I am aware that the Projects team have to juggle numerous -- and what appears to be conflicting -- demands from numerous segments of the community. Some members seem to be less patient with the development process than others. What I would suggest is a statement eg. a bulletin that is released on a monthly or quarterly basis, which indicates the areas or components being worked on & due for release. This could be posted as a sticky
Importing / Exporting
Does anyone know of a way to import tasks from a file (Excel or Zoho spreadsheet etc.)? I have a lot of things I need to add and I figure it would be easier to export the format, update and then import. Any Ideas??
Some Project Help - New User
Hello, I have some questions: 1. Clients - How exactly are they used? If I have a milestone like this "Student Org Fundraiser" and one of my clients is "Student Org A" and hte other is "Student Org B" How can I make it so that Student Org A logs in and sees their task list (which is a task list under "Student Org Fundraiser") but not the other orgs task list? Also, if I have a "Non Student Org Fundraisier" and I make both of those milestones external, can I make it so that they are only external

Exporting Projects?
Is there a way to export projects instead of task? If so can you export all your projects into a csv or a excel format?
Calendar/repetitive clicking for many months in advance
Most of my scheduling is for 1 or 2 months in advance, so this only requires 1-2 clicks on the month selection buttion. But this process is quite slow & tedious for events 1 year in advance, requiring around 12 clicks. Is there anyway to change the month selection to a drop down-style menu, or something like this that avoids such repetitive clicking? Thanks.

I'm currently between 2 project management programs and this is essentially a decisive factor for me. The Projects column isn't subdivided. When working with over 50 projects, it gets tedious to scroll through the different pages looking for the right project, especially if you don't remember the project name. Zoho Project has the option to move tasks from one task list to another task list within a project. To move a task, 1. Click on "Move Task" icon shown on mouse over over that particular task. 2. Select the required task list from the drop down and click on "Move Task" button. my log calendar and export in wrong increments
Hello, I have been using zoho for a while now and really like the tool. There are two major problem I would like to have you fix right away please. Under "My Log Calendar" and in any exported report, the time is kept in increments of 15 minutes as 1.15, 1.3, 1.45, 1.6 . The problem with this is that time should be kept as 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2 in order to properly add up all hours spent on a project. If you add 1.15 + 1.6 you get 2.75 which is 2 hours and forty five minutes but the proper math should

When I export a timesheet (.xls format) for a specified period, it would be great if it also included a cell that totaled all of the hours. Currently it simply list the time that was entered and I have to total the hours myself. Thanks, Lahesha Williams

Integration with Invoicing - by resource
Love the feature - only trick is that services typically bill at different rates by resource (instead of by task). I'd suggest adding it to the option menu as a third item below task. It's easy enough to change the rates on each line item but the total hours would be nice. mikeorr8
