Suggestion - Links to Create when associating Tasks with Doc
It would be very work-flow friendly if there was a way to create a new folder/document or forum/topic from the task list. While building tasks, the train-of-thought is broken since we have to go over to another screen to create a document or forum, then come back and associate it with the task. theorionteam
Employee can Edit & Add Milestones !!
It doesn't make sense why an employee can be allowed to edit or add milestones. Shouldn't that be reserved for Manager Access Only? theorionteam
Can We Synch Project Meetings with Outlook/CRM
Got a couple questions... and if there answers are no the its a feature request! can we archive/synch these meetings with CRM? or can we Assign CRM meetings to Projects? If not... we should! can we synch the meetings with outlook or have them sent as a meeting reminder? If not... it would be super. can we assign/link a project to accounts and to products in CRM? Since we do consulting projects, our "products" in CRM are actually projects and it would be great to be able to drill into them. go get
Altering final & major milestone date
I have recently completed a project. All the task lists & their tasks have been completed. However, I misjudged the final & major milestone date by 3 weeks. Is there anyway I can change this date, and bring it forward eg. make it 3 weeks earlier? Thanks.

Task Template - Editing & Deleting
Hello, I'm trying out Zoho and don't see exactly what function the Make a Task/TaskList a Template offers? The help says it saves the layout and settings, but I don't see how this is setup or edited. Once something has been setup as a Task List template how can you later edit or delete it? Thanks!
Dependancy View and overlapping dates.
Can you fix dependancy view so that when you add a dependency with a overlapping date it will just move the start date of the task with the predecessor to the next day after the predecessor end date? It is SUCH a pain to click back and forth to change dates on projects just so you can add a predecessor. stewart.scott
Probable bugs
I created a user with an email id, which i then deleted. however when i try creating that user again with the same id it gives a username of its own choice and wont let me change it. also i set 5 tasks of which two were completed. i set them to 100% and they they correctly went to the completed list. under reports i can see them in list view but not in chart view. it says no completed to do task available. its a little strange thats all. thanks, this service is fantastic. Task List Assigning
It would be great if we could just simply assign a whole task list to a selected team members...instead of going through each and every task after we've added them and assigning them one at a time i just had to assign over 100 tasks! but LOVING ZOHO.... only 3 days deep in it! dgmanagement

I cant change user's names it just defaults to email id. I would be best if we could assign names that the whole team recognizes dgmanagement

Setting Timezone
Hi, I'm trying to set the timezone under "Settings - Company Settings". For Singapore users, which one should I select? Currently my timezone shows "Europe/Dublin". Also, in fact I have users in Singapore as well as New York. I've seen previous postings last year where other users requested for the function to set a different time zone for each participant in a project. Is this now possible?

zoho projects upgrade
I have just upgraded to the 10 projects option-I have received only 9 projects, not 10. I have had 1 free project active for quite some time, but this should not affect the upgrade. In short, you owe me the ability to add 1 additional project, which would bring the total to 10--not the current 9 just given me, and for which you have just informed me that you have deducted monies for 10. adding notes at the same time as assigning the task
Hi, Our company has just moved to Zoho projects, and one issue we have is that after entering a task title, there's not another field to add the description. I know you can add notes after the fact, but that doesn't get sent via email notification. It would be very helpful to have a description field in the task assignment. additonally, what about the option of having hours as an option for the duration field in addition to days? thanks!

Zoho Writer & Sheet is hit & miss
I like the idea of using a mobile app, but oftentimes, depending on which computer I use, both Writer and Sheet seems to fail using Firefox 2.0 or 3.0. I'll get a bunch of jumbled text that looks something like the below. I've tried refreshing and things like that to no avail. What do you suggest? setting end time for contractor to automatically disable
Is there a way to set the expiry date for a contractor so it automatically disables the account? This would be great so the admin does not have to manually monitor and edit this account type? If there is no place to set the expiry date, then explain to me the difference between a contractor and an employee besides the label that is applied.
Non-working time
How do I declare certain days as "non-work days" like weekends for example? When scheduling tasks with a defined start date and duration, I would like ZOHO Projects to automatically recognize with the duration of a task stretches across a non-work day and adjust the task duration accordingly. So for example if I have a task that starts on a Monday and has 7 days of effort to accomplish, ZOHO will automatically see that it goes through a weekend and not count the Saturday and the Sunday and calculate

Deadline event
Hi, Can someone could how can do this? I want to set up an event with a deadline, but without beginning date. I set it as a task but it take lot of space in my calendar since it's something due in 6 months. I just want to be noticed of it couple of days before this date. Is it possible? I'm not quite sure I understand milestones, but I could'nt add any description and i'm not sure when we will be notice it's coming soon. Thanks!!
Meeting Notification
Suggestion: 1) Allow "no notification" as an option. Also allow 5 min or 10 min as options for meeting reminder. 2) Sometimes, users are traveling. So, send notice to their emial would be no use. All send notice to other emails like the email associated with cell phone. To do this, the User section needs to expend and other emial fields need to be added. rdluo

Editing documents with Writer from Projects
I have uploaded word documents into Projects. When I click on the open icon to Open the Document in ZoHo Writer a new window opens with the document I requested. The problem is not all the functionality of Writer is available - see attachment. Is this because there is no single sign on yet? It seems weird to allow a user to edit the document with Writer but not open up all functionality.
Create Invoice for all projects for a customer
Hello, I have 6 projects for a single customer. I just discovered that I cannot export all the billable work for a single customer to ZOHO Invoice at one time. It would be nice to be able to invoice by customer, not just by project. Thank You, Steve wickwood

Issues Log please
I'd like to see an ISSUES LOG which allows the identification of special types of tasks which are highlighted as issues or actions during a project. These might just be regular tasks but tagged as ISSUES maybe. In fact, if a task could be given a category that would be the most flexible way of reporting these. toshi
