Is Overdue tasks not working?
I have no overdue tasks. Why can I not create due dates for tasks? I created a task and made it so i had to begin a month ago and finish a day later... but i still have no overdue tasks. Is this correct? myke

Follow Up to message with above subject in Zoho Projects forums dated 30/6/2007 03:45am It seems that I can select General/Upcoming/Overdue/Completed on tabs above. But when I select completed I still cannot see the completed tasks. Regards Travis travissaron
milestone ordering
Hey, what's up with milestone ordering? It always changes, AND, I have no control over it. We want to reorder our milestones and KEEP them in that order. Here's what one of my users wrote: "This thing is so dumb. I had all the Milestones set to go in the right order. Once I started adding tasks list, the order of the milestones changed." Zoho Projects : Major Performance Update
This weekend, Zoho Projects joined the other Zoho apps in our new data center with more powerful servers. You should experience a major boost in the performance when you work with Zoho Projects now. Also, in this update there's a couple of UI enhancements. The �Tasks & Milestones� tab now has sub-tabs - General, Upcoming, Overdue, Completed - for added clarity. And each Tasklist / Milestone can be Expanded or Collapsed. The �Forums� tab has also undergone a few changes as well. Try the new & enhanced
Problem with projects
When checking off a completed project there is no "Completed Projects" list on the bottom of the screen as shown in the help notes on the bottom of the page at: http://writer.zoho.com/public/zohoprojects/Task-Management/noband Can this be rectified or where else can I select/edit/update closed tasks? Accidental Project
I created a project for testing purposes but now I can't delete it. I like the service and want to use it with my real projects. However, since there is no way to delete a project, I cannot remove it and I cannot add more projects. This is a major flaw if I am unable to have more projects because I made an accidental project. arthus.erea

merging Zoho office suite & Zoho projects
I love all of the different Zoho tools, but it is a serious pain to try and keep track of all the accounts. I could deal more easily with this if you allowed upload of Zoho writer files directly into the Zoho projects or Zoho notebook tools. Being able to essentially "cross-pollinate" would help to make this a long term solution for me. lsteffen
Timesheet adding incorrectly & missing hours timezone ch
Hi Zoho Project Folks, I'm beta-testing Zoho Projects before I transfer my organization to it. Here are 2 issues related to the timesheet: 1) The total hours for a user's timesheet are not adding correctly for the given month. In my case, there are 2 days each with time logged at 1.5 hours, yet the total is 3.4 hours for the month. It should be 3, correct? 2) I logged the 1st day's time before I changed the timezone from Europe to CST. Now that I have, when I click on the day that I logged time originally
Navigating projects
I love zoho and you have always been so responsive to our feedback. Thanks. So, my latest comment is that we have so many projects that it can be difficult to navigate and quickly find the one I am looking for. I am not sure how to resolve this, but perhaps the screen that allows you to re-order projects could also be clickable to open the project clicked upon? karen

Users deleting tasks ???
Hi, I started using zoho projects and am very pleased with it, however I need some help : I created some milestones and tasks on my project, then assigned tasks to some "employees". After some testing, one of the project users with a level of "employee" deleted a complete milestone with task lists and tasks, everything ! Is it possible for a regular base user to delete tasks or even change due dates on my global project milestones ???? I think this is wrong, is there anyway I can prevent this ??
can't add new project
I'm trying the free version of Zoho projects and can't add a project. It shows "No projects to view" in the project pane. Tried adding it many times with no luck. mark

I have registered as a user on the forum and have recd a confirmation email with my user name and pass. I can log on OK - but when I try to reply to a post I am told that posts from guests are allowed but when pressing submit nothing happens and my post appears to be lost.... ! geoffwebber

Apologies for starting another thread but cannot reply to my original (seperate item raised for this) I have rechecked my regional settings and all are confirmed as UK format. Even though you say the bug has been fixed I still get mm-dd-yyyy as the format when choosing a date from the picker instead of dd/mm/yyyy geoffwebber

Moving Tasks Between Milestones
Hi I seem to have come across a bug that occurs when trying to move tasks between tasklists. In the drop down that shows the Task Lists that you can move the task to: If a task list does not have any open tasks but has closed tasks, it will not appear in the drop down list. A task list does appear when it has no tasks as long as there are no closed tasks. If there are no open tasks but closed tasks you have to untick one of the closed tasks or create a temporary task to get an open task to allow

Quick document creation
Hi there, First of all, congrats for a great tool! I'm using it on a daily basis and find it very useful. One thing I happen to miss several times was the ability to be able to create a quick plain text file for notes; it could be a post-it like or just a tiny editor, no text format needed. The workaround for this now is to upload a document but this involves several clicks and time. My 2 cents. Thanks! F. fede

In our business, we have multiple interim milestones we have to achieve to reach major milestones. I have just started using Zoho Projects. Is there a way to create "nested" milestones?
Time recording
i would like to see some method of grouping time spent on tasks please. In our tech support office I want to record time spent on a number of specific tasks over the year. Tasks would include Tech support, Training etc etc. Each team member has their own version of each task. Perhaps tasks could have an "include in time tracking" flag so that only those tagged as such would get included in cumulative reports. Thanks - geoff geoffwebber

It seems that Zoho project competes very well with Basecamp (http://www.basecamphq.com/) I would like to see a way to send invoices. Is there a chance that Zoho products work on-line and off-line, so that there is no (or minimum) latency when loading pages ? Improve Edit/Add Client Interface
I have signed up for and am testing both Zoho Projects and Zoho CRM. The interface for adding Accounts, which can be thought of as clients from a Project Management point of view is HEAPS better. I have attached screenshots to compare. I think Zoho Projects Edit Client view should include most (if not all) of the info that Zoho CRM collects. Also, note how in Zoho CRM an Account can have a Parent Account. For me this is big. I have a client for example (a design firm), that subcontracts work to me.
Timesheet across all projects
Is there a way to export a timesheet across all projects for all individuals? I find it very difficult to go into each project and find individual timesheets for each project. Same with the Calendar, a place to see an overall calendar. Also, have the Meeting times with a Start / Stop time or at least time allotment that goes into the timesheet so meetings count towards hours worked.
Upgrade failure
I attempted to purchase a package numerous times today and each time the Zoho payment processing fails. I receive an indefinite processing request message (sorry - do not remember exact verbiage). I do not receive a server error message just an indefinite processing. I like the product and would really like to upgrade from the free to a purchase plan but this is definitely affecting my confidence in your company's image. I hope this message reaches you. How to see a master calendar
I have set up 4 projects in Zoho Projects. I want to see a master calendar that has entries from all projects. How do I do that? Same thing with tasks. I want to see the tasks from all four projects in one view. How do I do that? Also, sometimes I create a task/forum post, etc. in one project, then realize I want it on another project instead. Provide another project solely for FAQ, Documentation, and T
I want most Users restricted to seeing only a single project(for purposes of Tasks & Milestones), but I would like them ALL to have access to a central Forum (ie, for FAQs) and Documents (ie, Project Standards Docs, Blank Forms, etc). In this respect, they need have NO ACCESS to Quickbooks. Is there a better way than to set up one ZOHO project, to which I add every single user? Project would have no Tasks/Milestones, Timesheets, Meetings... just Documents and Forum. rsonnenberg
