Gantt Chart not working right
Hi - I have this problem with the gantt charts. Have you ever seen this? To me this seems like a major problem and one that may cause me to explore other options for project management software. How can I make Projects for 2 different companies? Do I have to sing-in with two accounts? When two persons open a Zoho sheet and work on it at the same time, the latest version gets saved erasing the other persons work. This could be resolved by having real-time updates as in google spreadsheets or by locking the spreadsheet in use when someone is working on it. To fix the date format issue your help guide suggests going to 'More Actions' then 'Applications settings'. When using Zoho sheet, there is no 'Applications settings' button. I have set the general Date Format to dd/mm/yy but when I import spreadsheets they all resort to the mm/dd/yy format. How do I fix this?Unable to close task assigned to me due to parent task
Hello, I'm unable to close a task assigned to me, the setup goes something like this: Milestone -Task list --Parent task (owned by person A) ---Task (owned by person B) ---Task (owned by person B) Person B cannot close the tasks assigned to him. It gives an error message "Task cannot be closed. Kindly close all parent task(s) for this task before closing this task." I did not create the tasks, so I'm not even sure how a parent task was created in the first place. I find no mention of it in the HelpAll tasks have disappeared!!!
I entered several tasks for a project we're working on, and suddenly, they've disappeared from view in every place except the dependency view and the calendar. I can tell that they're somewhere (I can also export them), but they just won't show up where I need them! When I click on a task to edit from one of those places (Calendar or dependency view), it take me back to the Tasks & Milestones: General tab, and there's nothing there. I have previously not had trouble adding users to Projects - but for the past two days, I have been unable to add users on any level. I need to add one user as an Admin, and three others as managers. When I click Add User, it returns a blank form and does not appear to add the user. No email notifications are sent. There is a page error in the bottom left corner - not sure if this is the problem? I am addin two tasks in my timesheet. One with 1.50 hours and one with 9.50. The timesheet applcation caluculates this to 11.40. Help?milestone view in work calendar
Is anyone else not seeing project milestones as bars in the work calendar like they are supposed to be shown per description? I only see the little green verbage that alerts me to the fact that there is a milestone but it would be nice to see the implementation of the bars to let me know project duration in the work calendar for all projects on one screen to balance workload (i.e. have smooth transitions between projects.) We are a construction company with many projects of varying duration and oneZoho Project and Zoho Sheet
I'm trying to establish a blog that publishes technical data, and I was hoping to use zoho project and zoho sheet to help accomplish that. I discovered that zoho sheet allows users to embed their sheets into blogs (using html code) and that zoho projects lets you upload and organize these sheets. however, when i click no a sheet in zoho project, and it opens in zoho sheet, i can't find the option that allows me to embed the sheet in a blog. am i just looking for it in the wrong place, or are theemail sent on new forum entry doesn't recognize the caracters of the original language - Unreadable
the email sent doesn't recognize the language of the text and that makes the email unreadable ! it replaces the not recognized caracters with "?". impossible to use. Anyone else noticing this problem? I had a contractor enter their time in the system. I took the automatically created weekly and monthly totals as is and sent a check off. Later I rechecked it and the totals are totally off. From now on I plan on adding things up manually unless Zoho can fix this.What Zoho Projects url should be used to redirect to our projects page from a subdomain?
I've setup all of the other Zoho tools that we use (CRM, wiki, Zoho business) to be accessed from our subdomains (ex. wiki.ourdomain.com). It makes remembering all of the domains easier. I tried to do that with our projects domain "ourname.projects.zoho.com" but keep getting "Address Not Found" error. What domain should be used to allow the redirect? I can't get the "my work calendar" icalendar export function to work with external apps at all. In google calendar, all that happens is that no appointments show up at all, and in Outlook I get this error when refreshing the calendar: (translated from Swedish since my outlook is a Swedish version) The task Subscriptions to Internet Calendars reported the following error (0x00040005): Unable to import any appointments from the iCalendar file. I have a meeting scheduled for 19-9 at 5.30PM (6 hrs ahead at time of writing) & this shows up in the relevant single project page/section. However, for some strange reason, this meeting is not showing up in the meetings section of the homepage. There was no problem with this yesterday. I think it peculiar that the meeting scheduled for that day would not show up in the homepage ('open' & 'all' categories) when they do for their individual project page. I uploaded as .xls file with embedded jpgs (shown as icons). When I open the spreadsheet in Sheet, as expected, the embedded icons do not show up. I am ok with that limitation. However when I edit cell data, in sheet, and save the file the .xls file does not reflect the changes in cell values. Is this a bug?Problem with New Client User Email
I am having a problem with the Email that goes out when I add a new client user. It seems the Email doesn't give them a password. All the other Zoho products have a new menu at the very top; one of them is called Switch To, and when I click on it, I can select another Zoho product to switch to. However, why can't I see this menu item in Zoho Projects? I can get to Zoho Projects from any other Zoho product, but I don't have the menu item in Zoho Projects that allows me to get to other products.Milestone filtering by user
We have multiple users set up with each user adding milestones and tasks, with themselves set up as the primary user. The problem is that when you go to View Others Tasks, filtering by user, not all the milestones set up by that user show. This is prevalent for all of the individual users. if we filter using All under the "View Others Tasks", the milestones reappear. How do we overcome what seems to be a bug? We are all on macs using Firefox or SafariForum display problem

I created a new spreadsheet named Big_Ideas.xls. I renamed the default tabs from Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3 to: 1_Audience, 2_Topics, 3_Modeling I clicked the "Save" button, and the "Uploading" tag appeared, then the Save button Grayed out. I closed the window. From the Documents link, I clicked on the icon to edit Big_Ideas.xls and when the spreadsheet opened in a new window, the tabs read Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3 instead of 1_Audience, 2_Topics, 3_Modeling. I tried this more than once using both FirefoxDocument List
Hi, in our project, the document view in the list mode does not work. Page one of that view always shows a clear screen with no entries. I can't get any odcuments working - when i go to my project's documents page, and I click "New Document", and fill out the form, when i press "Create new document" it doesn't do anything - the document creation dialog disappears, but no document is listed. Also, when i upload a document, it works fine, but if i click the button to edit it in Zoho Writer, it says "Opening Zoho Writer File" very quickly and then nothing happens! When I try to create/open a spreadsheet in documents section of Zoho Projects Safari (3.1.1 on a mac) blocks the new window. Firefox 3 (RC3) doesn't block it but it shows a blank new window. Bug report: 1. Create a document in Zoho Projects. 2. Open in Zoho Writer by clicking on the Folder icon in the Documents section of the relevant Project. 3. Make a simple document using some formatting (e.g. Heading 1, Heading 2 and Normal). The default font face is Verdana, and the resulting HTML is good and clean. 4. Save and close the document in Writer. 5. Open the document once again in Writer. The appearance will have changed; the font face is now Arial and in general the styling is as WordGantt-chart not displaying in Firefox on OS X / Vista
Having some problems when looking at reports, specifically the task graph view and milestones graph view - have tested with firefox 2.0.0.14 on Vista and OS X 1.5 and also latest Safari in OS X - when viewing REPORTS and Task Graph View it only shows a "broken image"-picture instead of the Gantt-chart - I am pretty sure I have been able to view the chart earlier, a couple of weeks ago. Have tested on 2 separate machines, one pc and a mac. Just tested it in Explorer 7.0.6001.18000 and same thing there,Error deleting project

As the main administrator, I tried to upload the attached file. When provided a full description and tags, it attempted to upload the file, and upon response, returned to the Documents page without actually uploading the file. This happens occasionally and I can't seem to understand why. I thought perhaps it was because there was a .exe file in there, but it will upload .exe files too. We normally use https://.... zohoprojects.com to access the app but it's no longer working today. We also noticed that it is not coming up as invalid (although the connection is still encrypted, it just looks bad to the client). Hello, We are having intermittent issues viewing spreadsheets in Zoho sheet from our Projects. I can personally view sheets with no issue in Firefox 2 and IE 7 with no issues, however the save button does not work in either. The button gets pushed in when I click it, but it doesn't say saving on the right hand side. Dong a CTRL+S however does successfully save and update the sheet. However I have to other users, both in IE 7 that simply get a "deadlink" when they try to open a document in sheet.My Work Calendar iCal is invalid
First, thanks for the new My Work Calendar feature with an iCal feed! But, I can't the feed to work in my Mac iCalendar program. When I click the iCal button (with the webcal:// URL), I get taken to iCalendar correctly, and the URL shows in the "subscribe" box correctly. However, when I click subscribe in iCalendar, I then get an error: Data downloaded from [my calendar URL] is invalid.
