Why does my look-up field work in List but not Grid view?
Hi Ive had a quick look on the forum but cannot find this anywhere.. I have a form that has two lookup fields on it, lets say Customer and Project. When I set the display Type on the view of this form to 'List' I can select the customer and then the projects assigned to that customer which is fine... However, if i change that same view to 'Grid' the Project drop down does not generate any results based on the customer name. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
Question about Project Calendars and Personal Calendars
I am evaluating ZOHO projects and using the free account. Can someone tell me if a separate calendar is created for every project or is there one calendar that has a global view of everything going on? If there is, can I subscribe to that calendar in iCal/BusyCal? Is there any relation between the calendar in my ZOHO Projects account and my ZOHO Calendar account? Thx in advance. bob
Where to put the hours of the fixed price offering (budget)?
I upgrade to Zoho Projects Medium with the expectation that I could bring in the hours available according the fixed price offering. And then when I log my hours I can see I'm in budget or not. Mayby someone can explain to me how I can fix this, because I need to manage my Projects in this way!

Cannot create new tasks from within Google Apps
Hi, I love ZP for running my business, I had this working before but have made changes to our Google apps domain. Search "My Tasks" by Date rate
Hi, Absolutely love ZP for running my business. When clicking on "My Tasks" it would be great if we could search by date range. The obvious options are there but for great results if I was able to search by date that would be great. I.e set start date and end date.

Landscape Gantt chart printing
I'm trying to print off my gantt chart but its orientation is portrait and the text and graphics are just too small. Is it possible to set it to print with a landscape orientation? Thanks,
Management Reporting
As a relatively new user of the Projects tool, I am underwhelmed by the management reporting I am finding. Is there a list of tasks with due dates, percent complete, ahead/behind schedule, etc? The only thing I see that is close is the Gantt chart with tasks for current month and shading to show completion percentage. Not the easiest thing to see at a macro level for a project and share with others.
Is not "drag and drop editing" of gantt chart available in free plan?
Below is possible with free plan?: Now you can edit all your gantt charts. To edit a gantt chart just mouseover and drag it in either direction this will automatically update the dates. In addition, you can also drag the tail end of the chart toowhen the task is getting delayed. Furthermore, when you edit the parent tasks the related dates of child tasks will get automatically updated.

Adding custom fields to bug ( permission denied)
So im trying to add a custom field in the bug settings in one of my project templates. Whenever i click the add custom field button i get a big error saying 'permission denied !'. My user level is admin and my portal admin is having the same problem. Are we forgetting something or is there some solution? Thanks!

So im trying to add a custom field to a bug in one of my project templates. My user level is admin, but i still keep getting the Premission Denied ! message. The portal admin is having the same issue. Any idea where we should look for a permission fix or is it a bug?

Cannot Create First Forum Post For a New Category

[Zoho Projects] TImesheet Report show all unrelated Projects
Hello, When exporting timesheets for users, the spreadsheet exported now has a tab for all projects within the group. But we only need to see the projects that the user is in. For example: if my company has 300 projects, it is very time consuming to go through all the tabs to find the working hours for the only 5 project that a user is in. Task List - Restrictions
Is it possible to restrict who has access to certain Task Lists within a Project? Or, alternatively if we create multiple projects can we get a gantt view of all the projects together? I guess this accomplishes the same thing.

In other words, should building the company be ONE project and then break down departments like Product Development, Marketing, etc into Tasklists, Tasks with Milestones and subtasks OR should each department be its own project and the whole portal be the company? Calendar not visible for portal user
We've just granted access to our portal for a test client user and using that account I am unable to view a calendar for the events. If I go to Tasks and Milestones then I can view them as Classic View, Plain View and Kanban View but there's no dependency or Gantt view. There's also no Calendar button / tab. If I go to Project Settings, Organise Tabs, the calendar tab is ticked for the project. Any ideas as to why these are not visible to the client user?

Exporting Bugs with Comments?
It seems we if export bugs from Zoho into an Excel file it doesn't carry over any comments that have been left - it only shows base information and description. Is there a way to export with comments?
