Recurring Tasks
It would make SO much tense to have the ability to create recurring tasks...things that come up weekly and need to be "checked off". I mean, right now we can just leave it up a task and not give it a deadline, but that makes it hard to see just what needs to be done on a weekly basis. Thanks!

Wiki versus Forum
I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what the difference is between a Wiki and the Forums, and how people would use them differently. Because I have no understanding of the concept of a Wiki, I've been having our team use the Forums section as a way to record important workflow procedures. I'm guessing there's a way users do that with a Wiki, but I just don't understand the pro's and con's of how to use it. Can anyone help me understand the concept of a "Wiki" a little better? Thanks
Project Templates
Hello: I wanted to ask if I can add task dependencies within a project template. I want to be able to create a new project from a template, specify a finish date/start date and then have all of the tasks automatically spread out according to when the projects starts/ends. -- Max.
Email Notifications of Project do not carry the attachement's link
Email Notifications that are sent out for a project whenever a new document or file is added, should also have the link of the file uploaded in it. This will allow a user to download the file directly from the mail OR get redirected to the URL on Zoho where he can download the file after logging into it. This is an essential feature for any project. Please suggest a solution or if I am missing something here. Regards, Rachita Agnihotri
User rights management
Hi, First of all, I'd like to wish you a happy new year and congratulate you once more on the quality of your applications. I've just started using Project and I love it. Just one thing, I see no differences in terms of rights between the different kinds of users (Admin, manager, employee). I'd like to be able to set different rights to my team according to their profile. Any plan on doing that? Thank you.

i cannot seem to get any info into ical from the ical link in projects. It all looks correct - there is data in the file - it launches ical correctly , but there is nothing to see. Any tips appreciated. RPC
User problem
Hi I purchased Zoho Projects and the user ID and email I entered now overides my user ID for Zoho Invoice. Consequently I can't see my old Zoho Invoices records and it's asking me to start over again. How can log on back to my previous Zoho Invoice?
Using "My Work Calendar" to overview activities in all projects
Team, If owner of all projects in ZOHO don't own a milestone or task, then please tell me how he/she can monitor all the activities using "My Work Calendar". Bug Tracker Business Rules Enhancement
It would be grand if we cold set rules for specific actions associated with a ticket. Say something like this IF current user != AssignedTo && current user.role != Admin && current user != Reporter && current action == comment && NotifyReporter == true Set AssignedTo = Current User. or IF currentAction == comment && NotifyReporter == true Set status == WaitingOnCustomerResponse I can see so many uses for this type of addition to an already wonderful system.
Task Status
Currently the only way to indicate that a task has been completed is to mark the status "completed". I would like to have other status options, such as "Left Message" that mark the task as completed. Is this possible?
New Field: Last Modified By
Would like to see a field for last modified by. It would truely help to see who last touched this ticket. Expecially when I have people asking the reporter questions and not assigning themselves the ticket. Maybe that's a work flow thing but a true history of the ticket would include all people who have been assigned or have modified this ticket. But for starters id be happy with a Last Modified By. Sharing task status or Gantt chart with non-project members
I have tasks for my department of three people, and Zoho is working fine for that. For now I'm evaluating the free version. I'd like for everyone in my organization to be able to view my department's tasks and statuses so that they will know when we can get to other projects. However, the project URL just takes me into a login page. Is there a way to let non-users view a project, or export the information in a web-based (not csv) format? Thanks for your help.
Move multiple files and other improvements
I noted a year ago this was requested and it's on the implementation schedule. We're a new project user and it sure would be nice to send an email containing 10 files to upload and then MOVE them into a folder. So, we have to use the uploader so that we can file off batches of files. OR make it to where you send 10 files via email it checks the subject line and if the subject happens to be the same as any folder for that project it sticks them in there. Greetings, Is it possible to insert a document folder link in a Wiki? It seems it's only possible to get a link to a single document and not to the entire folder. It should be possible! Right now i only see the possibility to do a new 'file cabinet' page in the wiki, where i have to upload the documents... "Email My Activities" not working
Hi, I recently run into this issue where one of my colleagues Zoho Projects account stops sending the "work task reminder" to the user. The last notification mail received is on 27 May 2011 but no changes are made to the settings. I even tried to update the reminder time for a few times but still did not receive any mail. Anyone has an idea what went wrong and how to fix it? Thanks.

Regarding information on dash board
At the moment when somebody logs to zoho, he can see all his task once he select the project. I think a user can work on many project at a time. So when he log into zoho projects, the dask board should show his days tasks, milestone, his meeting for that particular day and may be for the next day. ( Something similar to the dashboard in microsoft in outlook 2007) What is point of showing all his project. he is supposed to work on task alloted to him for that particular day and has not to worry

Wrong format returned in xml response for TaskLists and Messages
Hello, according to your Zoho Projects API doc the format of the TaskLists xml is supposed to be containing multiple TaskListDetail sections within one TaskListDetails section: <response> <result> <TaskListDetails> ... <TaskListDetail> task 1 details.... </TaskListDetail> <TaskListDetail> task 2 details.... </TaskListDetail> ... </TaskListDetails> </result> </response> But what we see is multiple TaskListDetails sections, each containing only one TaskListDetail.

Is the xml format correct for TaskNoteDetails?
Hi, First, I think the API doc for getting task notes is incorrect. I think it missed the tags encapsulating a list of TaskNoteDetail sections. I guess that would be <TaskNotesDetails></TaskNotesDetails> <TaskDetail> <TaskNotesDetail> ... </TaskNotesDetail> </TaskDetail> And actually what I see in return support my thinking. Creating 2nd account and portal with same owner email and credit card

When getting tasks I see that <Details> section is used very differently. 1st it contains one owner description, then it contains TaskNoteDetail, and then TaskForumDetail. Is this correct? Importing one project into another?
Hi, I've got two projects created in Zoho with independent task lists. I'd like to export ALL the tasks (inclusive of assignments, comments on tasks, current status etc) from project1, and then import them ALL into project2. Zoho only exports out as xls or csv, and only imports MPP as far as I can tell. How would I do this? Thanks in advance for the help!
Calendar (non project related entries)
Is there a way to add non project related entries? I'd like to add my holidays, non working days or any other full day events but I just found how to add meetins. Meetings cannot last 3 weeks and need a start time in hours. Can you please give me some advise?
Storage allotment and uploaded documents
I have a free account with 50MB storage space. I uploaded two documents in the forum section for a total of 110kb. On my dashboard it says Disk space used 0% Portal disk space 100MB Used Disk space 110KB What I am concerned about is how much space am I allotted for documents posted in the forums. I also don't understand what is "portal disk space." Please explain how storage is counted. Thanks-
I am the portal owner/administrator - why can't I close other people's tasks?
I have a bunch of tasks sitting there from someone else who isn't around atm, they are completed but I can't close them. I can only add notes. I used to use iTeamwork, which is not nearly as complex as Zoho, but it did give the managers complete control over all user's tasks. Am I doing something wrong?

I successfully got a ticket ID and Api key, However when I tried to send HttpPost to get user portals, I got the following error: ...<error> <code>6500</code> <message>General error</message> </error>..... Is there a problem with my paramaters?
