New to Zoho Projects but not sure if it is Pilot error
1) I can’t add a client user that originally was set up as a project user. It is saying that she is still in the organization. I can delete and add her back under project users but can’t add her as a client user. Why not? 2) I have noticed a lot of javascript errors in my IE browser. Sometime I can’t get focus in a text box to add text, etc. Wazz up with that? Using IE 7.0.5730.11
Show tasks completion in Task View
Currently tasks completion can be seen only in Reports View. Some people in my firm are asking if Zoho can implement that % of completion show up beside each task under the corresponding MIlestone in Task View. It simplify the process of tracking the progress at task level. Hope this idea has a positive answer Thanks
Project Template/Plan in Free Account
Am testing out a free acount and wanting to create a project plan where milestones, tasks associated with milestones, and users associated with the tasks can be saved off in a template and reused. I can create a task list in the free version but the tasks are not automatically associated with milestones and people aren't assigned to them individually. It's just a list. I assume that a paid version does what I'm talking about but would rather not pay to find out. There isn't enough information
Notification and feeds missing?
Can someone please point out what's missing - I have no notifications, no feeds found in the notifications feed box on the lower left of the portal. Email notifications are working fine. How do I configure the feeds for a particular project and ensure that they work for the entire group of users, please? Searched forum and found no help other than a blog post that makes this functionality look very desirable...

No Notifications, No feeds in Zoho projects
HI - When I access Projects, I have no notifications in the bottom left of the portal, and no feeds can be found. What configuration am I missing here? Email notifications are working fine.
Turn off automatic email alerts?
I have not figured out how to turn off the auto email alerts I am receiving whenever a new task or meeting is added or modified. Is there a way to do this? Thanks, David
Is there any option to set Basline in Task
As per current feature task owner can change Start and End time anytime. If is very difficult for Top Management to access their performance (whether he is on time or delay). Is there are method to set baseline or comparing original timeline or owner cann't edit original timeline
Can I set document access levels for users within Projects...

Why is "Send Mail Notification" automatically selected when creating a task from the bottom of the task like "create task" link?
In a task list, at the bottom of the list, there is an "add task" link. When this link is used to add tasks, the "Send Mail Notification" is the default setting. This is frustrating, as it is easy to forget to deselect it, and then send zillions of unnecessary emails to people with each task creation. Thanks! LOVE THIS PRODUCT! ITS AWESOME!
Due date in Milestone/Tasklist View
Zoho is one of hart of my company, thank you so much to make this solution. but I just want to one change, that is due date change issue. Now we can only change due/start date when we are making new tasks, otherwise we have to go to task detail view if we want to change the date. Why can't we change due/start date when we are at milestone or tasklist view. please change it ASAP

Customizing 'Task Details' feature is needed
It seems that the task details could not be customized, therefore I'm using a basic format. However, "Customization" feature is very important for applying the project center to variable projects. Furthermore, could you revise the due date display to set the hour and seconds?
Overall Projects
I would like to see a calendar or gantt chart view of all projects. I would like to see who is where. Here is the business problem. We are a consulting firm with multiple projects. I want to know which consultant is where and on what day. So, say consultant a is booked for project b and consultant c is booked for project d all next week I want to be able to see that all in one place. I think a calendar view or gantt would be the best visually.
Master Project?
New to Zoho so I'm wondering if there's anyway to create a master project plan? By this I mean, I have to manage 8 separate projects but they all have some overlap or dependencies so I'd love as the master project manager to be able to see all of the projects in one project plan. Does this functionality exist in Zoho?

Having Problems w/ Google Apps
I went to activate in gmail yesterday and had the administrator add Zoho Projects as an app and when she did it I was able to click on zoho projects from within gmail and be signed into our zoho project. Today that's not the case, I get an error message stating I need to request permission. In addition, yesterday when I thought it was working I didn't have an option to add users for this project click here so I wasn't able to see all of the users in gmail and I can't add tasks to my gmail calendar
Can't add an existing task to Google Calendar?
Hello, I'm trying to go back and add existing tasks to Google Calendar but don't see an option to do this. Can we only add tasks to Google Calendar upon task creation? When I try to edit a task, I only see an option to send an email notification, not add to Calendar. Thanks for any info, Christine
Passwords for Google Apps users?
According to this document (http://www.zoho.com/projects/developers/get-tickets-api.html), I need to use users' ID and password to generate a ticket ID. But as we are Google Apps integrated, our users don't have passwords. How could I auth our users? Thanks.
Project Task Date Picker Should Update End Task Month
When selecting selecting a date range in Zoho Projects (a task for example) that has a start and end date, once the start date has been selected, the end date should pre-populate with at least the start date and the widget should update to display the correct month. Since an end date can be before a start date, it makes sense to populate the dialog thus. Additionally, it saves the multiple clicks of advancing to the month for tasks in the future.

Can I see the total time spent by all people working on a project i.e. the total number of hours spent to date on the project. Ideally I would like to see that on the project dashboard
Client User - Assign Task
I tried to add a client user, when client user login, they will be able to ADD TASK LIST, which is fine. But problem is, they can also ASSIGN somebody to take care about the task. 1) Can we disallow Client User to Assign Task? 2) Can they choose the Category of the Task when they are creating? 3) When a task is created by the client, can the task be sent to Project Owner first? 4) Project owner will then assign the task to related support to follow up.

I would like to get creator/author loginID for tasks but I dont see a way to do this. ownerId seems to be coming in the <Details></Details> section but if a task has multiple owners, the section does not seem to carry all of them. How do I get all owners? Thank you

Can't add existing tasks to Google Calendar? Also, task dates in Google Calendar are one day late.
Hello, I've noticed that when you first create a new task, you can choose to add it to Google calendar when you save the task. However, if you go back to edit an existing task, there's no option to add it to a Google calendar. Is this in fact the case? Am I not looking in the right area? Also, the tasks in Google calendar are one day behind - I saved a task to start on June 23rd and end on June 24th, but in the Google calendar named "zoho", the dates for that task are listed from June 24th -
This company will let you down.
I signed up to try and was instantly dissatisfied: No way to evaluate all in one. No Project management software should be without issue/bug tracker but you can't test it all together/integrated unless you pay or try each separately etc. Oh and the fact that there is NO REFUND (in case you canceled say after 30 days) was another red flag for me. Erased tasks
Hello, I love Zoho Projects... I'm still learning how to work with it, I found myself erasing tasks and then suddenly I realized, what would happen if someone, another user or myself, erase "by mistake" one task?, now I can see in the dashboard the message that someone erased the task, but is there any way to recover that erased task?, I tried clicking on the erased task but nothing happened, is there any way to recover erased tasks?, please, tell me that that is possible if not, it is a good idea
Can't find the option to "Email My Home" in Zoho Project?
Hello, I've been looking for a way to automatically set up task reminders in Zoho Projects and have seen on the forums that this functionality doesn't exist (is this correct)? But I've seen several answers from moderators saying that we can just email our homepage with a list of all the upcoming tasks, etc. However, I don't see anything on my homepage indicating that I can email my home page to myself. Add ability to change project picture
Hi, I propose a very small change that should be easy to make. Currently on each of my projects I see myself smiling at me. While I do like myself, my picture on the project dashboard has little value. Could you add the possibility to show there are custom picture?
