[Projects 2.0] :Users cannot edit uploaded documents
Hello, I have a problem in which my users upload documents which previously we could share and all work on, now the documents they upload get locked as "read only". I've tried to change users roles, but it doesn't allow editing even on admin permissions. Am I missing how we can share documents again? Or is that a feature that was removed? Thank you! Mia

When importing tasks from MPP, it would be extremely useful to offer a way to import high level tasks as milestones. Now everything is loaded under General and that's to much work to reorganize tasks. Any plan to make this better ? Big vote for "hours" and duration driven dependencies
Hello folks, i'd like to add my enthusiastic vote to add hours as duration units for tasks. Internet time is way too fast to count it by days. We definitely need hours. And it seems like a simple fix since you already have time tracking logic built. Please, please, we need "hours". While you are at it. Please upgrade the dependency view to allow automatic date setting based on the duration and the date of the predecessor. It seems unreasonable to ask users to manually change the dates of all

Just getting going with Zoho projects and here are some ideas for enhancements: allow hour estimates by tasks so that you can see total time by milestone, person, task, etc. This would be amazingly useful. Allow list view for milestones, very helpful at start of a project. Allow copy of a project (we have similar projects for different clients, nice to copy and then update deadlines, etc.) Better user permissions Allow dependencies across milestones

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to add progress to a task besides changing the task value... I would like to see a task notes section that links to the time sheet entry (billable / not billable) currently I am tracking my task work via the timesheets are but when I go back and review the task there is no progress history. When I enter a new Task List, it would be nice to have the new task list appear at the bottom. Reason: When I enter task lists I am thinking in the order in which I need the work to be done. For Example, I enter them in this order: 1. Wash the Car 2. Dry the Car Currently, when I enter the second task list, your system pushes the previous one down the list. That is the "engineering speak" message you get if you try to schedule a meeting on the calendar for a day that is already over. There are 2 problems with it: 1. It's "engineering speak" and should be changed to clear English. How about "you cannot schedule a meeting on a day that has already passed". 2. ISSUE: Show advanced option on Task module is implemented as a separate link. Requires an extra click (which can be quite an irritant if need to create multiple tasks) SUGGESTION: make advanced option list open by default. [Projects 2.0] :Check boxes for closing tasks
I am starting a project plan using zoho project and will comment on the interface / functionality, etc. as I move along. My first comment is on using check boxes as a way to close tasks. This seems to me contr-intuitive as most applications would use it to select an item, not close it. On more than one occasion I inadvertaintly closed tasks while wanting to select them instead. I observed this is also an issue with tasks on certain CRM modules (imho it is implemented inconsistently there as well).

Hi, Was wondering if it is possible to email a response or a new post to the forum in zho projects. I know in zoho creator records can be added via email. It would be cool to be able to reply to a response directly via the email notifications. Was wondering if this is possible? Thanks

when you are logging time for a previous date, it's easy to log time for the current date instead since that is the default. can you revise the edit function on a timesheet entry to revise the date. you can revise the hours but you can't revise the date. that would save you having to delete an entry and then have to redo the entry on a different date. yem.ling.fong
