[Projects 2.0] :Modifying/Deleting Projects - Not intuitive, here's a suggestion
Hi wonderful Zoho people, I love version 1 of Project and am quickly coming to love version 2. Here's (I believe) an easy to add feature that would make version 2 SOOO much more intuitive.... In the Projects Listing (visible on login), it would convenient and intuitive if to the right of each project you added the Project buttons to Edit (pencil), Clear (X), Delete (Trash), and for Project RSS. To keep it non-cluttered, it'd be great if this was a mouse-over but not essential. Likewise, I miss the

Not sure if this is a version 3 thing or something you might want for this version.... It would be wonderful if you had a popup window with just the timetracker elements of Zoho Project. With it, you'd be able to drill-down through Project, Milestone, Tasklist to task and time things very quickly. You could also use the top of the same window to put your current status. Alternatively, this could be presented as an embeddable iframe (so I could put it in my work site), or perhaps a Vista widget that

Zoho Projects is Awesome but if I can't access it with my phone then it will not work for us.
We just upgraded to a business plan for Zoho projects. I need to be able to find a way to see those tasks on my blackberry. I know that I can access Zoho mobile to see my Zoho calendar but is there a way to import my tasks from Zoho Projects into the calendar. Even better if there were a Zoho Project App for Mobile phones. Everything I need to do is in Projects but I can't get to any of it with my phone. Hi, I work at a nonprofit that aims to relieve poverty in Nicaragua through different social programs and I've been using Zoho Projects for a few months now. Does anyone know when the new set of changes for Zoho Projects will be implemented? I've read a lot of forum replies saying that "yes, this is in our road map for changes." Timesheet times should use colon instead of decimal
I recently had an issue in billing a client using ZOHO Projects and ZOHO Invoice because these apps log time using a decimal point rather than the U.S.-standard colon (e.g. "1.45" instead of "1:45"). The client understood the value to be 1.45 hours, or 87 minutes, rather than 1:45, or 105 minutes. This gave the client the incorrect impression that I had over-billed them. Hi there. this may have been brought up before, but it would be really useful to have a notify function when adding notes to a task. This function would ideally allow you to tell anyone involved in the project about your note addition. Is this something that is on the roadmap? netinsight

While progress is always great, it's dissapointing to see you pushing ahead with creating a new version of a product that doesn't meet basic existing needs. With issues like tag's not being searchable properly and being able to assign other users with permissions/roles like Admin to use certain features, Zoho Projects is NOT ready for a 2.0 jump yet. Fix what is currently not functioning at LEAST before you move to a new version. Or at least include those broken/needed features in your new one! Thanks,

Calendar challenge
I have entered several tasks to be completed within my project via tasks and milestone. After assigning the user, start and completion dates, the task displays on every date in the Calendar view, between the start and completion date. Example: New task= create bylaws, Start May 15th completion July 15th. after submission this task shows up on every day in the calendar between May 15th and July 15th. What did I do wrong?

I understand that You can classify your project members based on their roles - Administrators, Managers, Employees, Contractors & Clients. Each role has pre-defined access privileges. However my only choices seem to be Managers, Employees, and Contractors. What am I doing wrong? Help!
Altering Calendar Settings
To whom it may concern, When I assign tasks, they are extended over the weekend. This is not an accurate refelction of the workweek and the time spent on the task. I would like to be able to assign tasks and have them span over a normal work week i.e. not including the weekends/holidays, similar to options available in Microsoft Project Schedule. Great app... but I am looking for a broader project management solution!
First, a project is more than tasks and milestones. You have done a tremendous job for this part I must admit. So, here is what I would like to be able to do. 1- Generate a high-level weekly report without re-entering data in another file. Use the task list and associated tags to create a simple weekly report in PDF or as a presentation document. 2- There should be a better way to document the "gates". If we take the Stage-Gate (phases and gates) approach, then your tool is only useful
Better timesheet reports?
