Soon, we will be upgrading to the 20-project version (in a few days) and this early in the transition stage (on one project only), I have to say that the entire group is delighted with the ease of use and overall functionalities of Zoho Projects. Timesheet functionality in 'My log calendar'
Please add the functionality to be able to log time (as in project timesheets) to the My Log Calendar. When one works on multiple projects one usually ends up logging time at the end of the day for all your projects. It is time consuming to change between projects and clicking on timesheet. Also one can't easily see if you have allocated the whole day because you have to go back to My Log Calendar to see the total across projects. The functionality can be exactly the same as in the project timesheet
Cannot Create New Project in Firefox
Hi, I have problems creating a new project from within Firefox 3. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer and Safari. Could be a bug?

Linking or 'switching to' XLS doc in Zoho Sheet
This would be really handy. Is there a way to do it now, might I be missing something? Odd the 'Projects' does not offer the 'switch to' menu to go to other apps.

Problems using iCalendar with Google Calendar and Outlook
I can't get the "my work calendar" icalendar export function to work with external apps at all. In google calendar, all that happens is that no appointments show up at all, and in Outlook I get this error when refreshing the calendar: (translated from Swedish since my outlook is a Swedish version) The task Subscriptions to Internet Calendars reported the following error (0x00040005): Unable to import any appointments from the iCalendar file. Ability to Notify Users of New Task Notes?
I often encourage clients to add notes to tasks to help clarify - it's great for documentation. However I don't know when notes are added (unless I log in to check). It would be nice to be notified when a client adds notes...or vice versa - notify others assigned to the task when I add notes. Is this possible?
Calendar Functions
It would be nice to be able to put personal availability, with different settings like public/private and such, on our "My Home" calendar so that when leadership is trying to schedule a meeting they don't have to call, or e-mail everyone. It could also be setup so that when a meeting is scheduled it makes the time unavailable for all the other projects as well, that way when you are working for multiple project owners your time is not double scheduled. matt.vian
Understanding limit on the number of Projects
Hi I understand that based on the subscription there is a limit on the Project. Is this the number of active projects or the total of all the projects? For eg, If I have a 10 project limit and I have exhausted it - can I delete one of the projects and replace it with some other? Sethu

How about including a cost sheet just like a timesheet, and also a matching report that will show total project time and total project cost broken down by task. ...and a BUDGET, and a report of actual versus budget, and also against percentage complete e.g. the task might be 50% but taken 80% of the time There might also need to be a labour rate per user per project (maybe on some projects the user has a different rate) jd1_jejo
Combining portals into one dashboard
Perhaps there is a way to do this, but I was unable to find one. It would be great if it was possible to combine multiple project portals into one dashboard.
Task Duration Units
Hi I see only "Days" as an option when I try to add a task under a task list. Is it possible to change the units of the duration to Hours, or for that matter Weeks or Months? Sethu

English Date Format not correct for US
For the English US language setting, the date format should be MM/DD/YYY. Currently it is DD/MM/YYY or 27/10/2008. This is not what people are used to seeing and it creates problems. kclassen
Cannot upload new version of a document!
After once having a document updated by another user, I cannot upload a new version by myself. I select the file, click on the buttton, it loads, but nothing happens. leander.isler
Visualization of repetitive meetings
Dear ZOHO team, After programing a repetitive meeting if you go to "meetings" you see the meeting scheduled only on the first day and marked with the two circular arrows but you don't see it on the other consecutive days (apart from the calendar option, where you see them clearly). I think this may be a little confusing for project user if they prefer to check meetings only on "meetings" page. If you could adjust this problem i would be very greatful. Default tab
Hello, we like your product but since we are it mostly for tasks, we always have to click first to Tasks & Milestones, then to General, which is 2 clicks for each time we want to look/updates project-related tasks. It would be very nice to be able to set a default tab or to change the order of the tabs. As you know, interface ergonomy is very important, particularly to minimize the number of clicks to perform a task in a software that is often used. Thank you, Francoise

Hi When I try to add a new task list under an existing milestone, the newly added task appears as the first item, While my expectation is that if I add a new task list then I would like see this as the last item. Not intuitive
Your application is not intuitive at all. Hard serious issues getting around to setting up tasks and assigning them to users i've setup. Creating milestones for my projects is giving me so much issues as it is. ugommirikwe1
Document version uploading
I'm having trouble updating document versions. The file names are identical, and I've checked several times. Any ideas on what else could be causing the problem? Does it matter who uploaded the original document? justin.alger
How do I assign a client to a project?
Do you have any tutorials that walk you through the common steps in setting up a project? Have spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do things like assign a client to a project, and set up completion dates for tasks and failing miserably, I feel like I have been shown the emperors wonderful new clothes but somehow can't see them. Liked your Projects site, but...
Hi ZOHO, I wanted to let you know that I decided against using your ZOHO Projects for only one reason --- I had many members that I setup that did not receive their Email Invites with the login/password information. I have 34 members listed in the Project. I was comparing your service to BaseCampHQ.com and was going to pick ZOHO Projects -- but I had to have complete faith that the notification and emailing communications worked all the time. I even tested this notification with my own account, ...
RTM alike integration with Gmail via FF
The subject line says it all, I wish you had an addon to FF like RememeberTheMilk does which integrates the main user's dashboard (across projects) with gmail. That's would be great
Document association on task lists
Being able to associate documents to a task is a great feature, but has one big problem. If the filenames in the document list begin similarly (such as they might if all for the same project) then the list displayed during association is useless as it only shows the first part of the filename - associating then becomes a 'guess and hope' empirical procedure. Projects List
I have more then a 100 of Projects I was wondering My Questions are 1. Is there a search bar to find a specific project? 2. Is there a way to show the Project list is alphabetical order? 3. If you put a duplicate name as a project it does not let you know that project already exist. Any help if I'm just not seeing these extra tools or they are yet to come out? rich_simms2

Gantt Chart 1970-2010
Hi Everybody, i have the following problem. i want zoho projects to show me the gantt chart for all open tasks. it does that - with showing me everything from 1970 untill 2010. But I just have tasks in 2008 and 2009!!! whats going wrong there? thanks for advice. cheers daniel

Issues with Calendar
Hi, I have noted that the date pickup box is showing the wrong date against week days. For example today (28-10-2008) shows like 'wed' instead the 'tue' collumn. How can I correct this? Other problem is regarding the Task status. For some reason many tasks from the reminder email appears with 'Delayed' status but the start date is not in the past. Time Sheet
When I enter in hours for the time sheets and export all users, the ZoHo Sheet recognizes the hours as a '8.00 instead of 8.00 causing the Auto Sum feature not to recognize the cell as a text or number cell. Can you please fix this export feature? ggovensky
