Auto-Login into solitary project
New users using Zoho-Projects will start with one project most of the times. I needed some time to understand, that I had to click on the project on the upper left project list, in order to go on. I think I would be good idea to auto-login users in a solitary project (in the case the user has only access to one project). I think this is important to make the first-use experience even more exciting. Most people will check out the free one-project version, before ordering one of the ohter products.

Tip 10: Do Tasks & Milestones disappear ???
There is a common cerebration among Users, that Tasks & Milestones disappear when exported to an excel file. Is it so ?? Nopes, Tasks & Milestones do not disappear when exported to an excel file, instead they are displayed in other sheets of the excel file. This is because, by default only 50 tasks are presented per sheet. For e.x: If 78 tasks are exported, first 50 tasks will be displayed in Sheet 1 and the remaining 28 tasks will be displayed in Sheet 2. Also task details like associated task list,

Same-day dependencies?
When I try to add tasks that should be completed on the same day, but have their own dependency chain, I get the error "Enter valid dependency." I understand the constraint that is being enforced, but it's made it extremely difficult to break down projects as granularly as we'd like. Any way to circumvent this or resolve it?

I love projects, but if you are going to use it seriously (ie 15+ tasks per day) it must integrate with a spreadsheet (excel of zohosheet). The interface is just not suited to managing multiple tasks.

Timesheet export for all users

Logging time
It would be awesome if there were an option to view the amount of time logged on a given task. If I could go from looking at a task in the Tasks and Milestones view and click a button to see how much time has been logged on any task (over all time, or over a given date range), that would be very helpful. Maybe this option exists, but if so, I haven't been able to find it =P ashwhite

Projects Meetings-inability to add attendees
I searched the archives but did not find a specific/desired answer. I recently tried to schedule a meeting on Projects. However, I was unable to input the names of those attending, as required. I had at least 3 names which I could have typed in, but was simply prevented from doing so. I kept getting a message to input the names of those attending!! Please Vote: Milestone View
The milestone view baffles me. How many of my fellow project managers would like to see it changed? I believe there is no reason to have 3 tabs "General, Upcoming & Overdue." In fact, I think it is causing deadlines to be missed. My team simply doesn't know they have to click 3 times to see all of their assigned tasks. There is a workaround (also 3 clicks) - go to "My Home" click the "By Users" link and then pick the "user" to see all the tasks (at the very least this page should be sortable). Please

Love the program for sure, so easy to administer and such. Couple things would be nice though, 1. Version editing in separate window so that you do not "lose" your place in the list of documents 2. "Next" and "Previous" arrows for pages in documents 3. Better sorting of documents 4. Help! I am having trouble exporting iCal from Zoho Project Calendar to MS Outlook. Eventhough there are tasks and milestones on my Work Calendar, the Outlook message kept on popping up as "The Internet Calendar file does not contain any appointments." Any clue?

Is there anyway to turn this option off? Everytime I add a new user to a project, it emails them login information. While this may be a useful feature for some, it's not for my project team! We get enough emails as is. Can anyone give me any answers on this? Ashley Lichty

I exaggerate - but I would like to have Projects open & ready for use at least 40 hrs a week, as I use it constantly. However, when I switch to use of either Hotmail or Yahoo email, or some other sites with entirely different content, then I 'lose' Projects in the 'switching over'. Yet, it doesn't always seem to do this. I appear to be able to access Google, and still have Projects unaffected and unchanged. I would like to be able to show that an entire project is estimated to take a certain amount of hours and then set tasks within that project to have there own individual time estimates. Then I would like to see how many hours have been spent on a project as a whole and get a snapshot of whether it is being completed within the estimated time-frames. Also - I only seem to be able to set task durations in days but I'd like to be able to set them in hours. Can this be done? Many thanks.
Assigning a single task to mutliple people
If I may request a feature it would be to assign one single task to several people. The reason is that in marketing project management a single task you delegate can be owned by a sub team of several people.
