Sorry, but I had a very dissatisfying experience using the zoho projects application. First of all, I found it very difficult to navigate, I think because the front page is identical to any projects page. I don't quite understand the rationale behind that - is the front page a project and the projects are projects too? If so, it doesn't make much sense: kinda like making the interior, exterior. Unable to upload new document versions
I am having a problem uploading new document versions. Here is what I am doing: I click on the "upload new version file" icon, and then on the following screen, I click on "upload latest version", then I browse for the latest version, select it and click on "upload document", then nothing happens. The screen appears to refresh, but the new version is not appearing. I am forced to upload a new file each time I want to have a new version on the projects portal...Is there a bug preventing this form
SSL not working
We normally use https://.... zohoprojects.com to access the app but it's no longer working today. We also noticed that it is not coming up as invalid (although the connection is still encrypted, it just looks bad to the client). This is important to us, as security is always a priority when dealing with online authentication. Can you advise me on your take in terms of providing a safe and secure user experience? Thanks.
Providing API to Projects
Zoho's Project's primary competitor, Basecamp, provides an API for sharing information with other applications. For example I can use the API to integration my BaseCamp project with Harvest (my invoicing application). Providing similar functionality (using the same or very similar API) would, IMHO, put Zoho out ahead and really propel it as a ready for primetime business app.
Change Administrator
Is there anyway to change the Administrator? One of our IT guys set up the trial and now that we want to go live, we need to remove him as the Admin. Obviously we want to keep our Account domain already established. Thank you in advance.
Free Project Features
I just signed up for the Free Project to test out Zoho. I am not getting many of the tabs (i.e. Dashboard, Documents, Calendar, Tasks, etc.) Is that because it is free - or something to do with the Slow and Unresponsive posts that are out here? Thanks,

Unless I've missed something Zoho Projects doesn't reschedule existing milestones or tasks when new tasks, with a hogher priotity, are added? This is rather annoying because you have to reschedule all the tasks manually. Also I can give one person 100 tasks the same day?
Projects extremely slow and unresponsive
Hello, We are experiencing issues with our projects site being very slow - taking many minutes to load a page after clicking on the link/button, if it loads at all. Our internet is running fine, and I can even hit other Zoho services without issue. Is anybody else experiencing this? Thanks, Travis

Hi, when one add a task, the tool count the days including the start day. In my opinion this is wrong. For example, if I add a task with start date 3/13 and it should last to 3/14 then Zoho count it to 2 days... This could be ok if I add the task at 00:01 AM in the very early morning. But if I add the task during the day it's actually less than 2 days, maybe 1,5 or less. In daily speaking if you hand some one a task that should be finished the next day you often say that the person has one day to

Some Users Get a "Deadlink" While Trying to Open Z
Hello, We are having intermittent issues viewing spreadsheets in Zoho sheet from our Projects. I can personally view sheets with no issue in Firefox 2 and IE 7 with no issues, however the save button does not work in either. The button gets pushed in when I click it, but it doesn't say saving on the right hand side. Dong a CTRL+S however does successfully save and update the sheet. However I have to other users, both in IE 7 that simply get a "deadlink" when they try to open a document in sheet.
Admin User
There is no way to add another Admin user or change existing. The employee set up as the admin for our company is no longer with us. We need to change hte name to something more generic. How?? janice@primalstare.com
Possible to have multiple projects accounts under one user?
Hi folks, I run a couple of companies, and I'd like to create separate projects accounts for each one under my username. In addition, I would like to be able to view all projects (for both companies) under the single login. Or at least be able to quickly toggle between the two. Is this possible? While working on my project I invited a person verbally, so he joined zoho.com and gave me his id, now I don't know how to add him to the project. Is there a way to get it done without his id? thanks, esv.
multiple admins
It would be useful to have more than one user marked as Admin. We have to use a "group ID" with separate email address, sharing the admin password to accomplish this today. We prefer not to do this. lhsilva
simply delete a document???
We need to delete a document that has been uploaded. I cannot find the place where I can do this, and have looked many times. Also, the versioning is confusing because it seems to rewrite file names, and I prefer to keep my own versioning control in the filenames.... Please help me find the delete button for doc.'s. When setting up a meeting the date displays as US format MM-DD-YYYY though my configuration format is UK/AU DD-MM-YYYY. When you save the meeting it gets confused and doesn't always apply the date as selected from the calenadar. Darrin Bird

A user's email address cannot be changed once they register. It would be good to add this to their profile, or at least allow Admin to change it. lhsilva
Documents area ignore uploads
Oftentimes, I will upload a document and after a short period, ZohoProjects will return without successfully adding the file. It does not produce an error or anything. I can try again several times to no avail. I've even changed the name of the file to make sure this was not the problem. For example, I attempted to upload "toneee_com_SALES_PROCESS_Org_chart_layout.ppt", carefully removing all spaces and strange characters. Why is this? This can be VERY annoying when trying to get things accomplished.

Problems exporting timesheet data to xls
Hello, I have 4 projects. When in My Log Calender I export a subset of the data (45 days) of all four projects I end up with an .xls file of 0 bytes. When opening it in Excel it shows an error stating that the file is corrupt. Exporting 30 days works fine. When exporting data from the same 45 days period out of each individual project works fine.
