User Passwords should be set by the Admin or Manager and not
User admin should be able to set passwords to something logical easy for the client or users and be able to keep track of them. Otherwise this can be a very dissorienting situation. It is also not always interesting that the user or client becomes an email straight away after creating an account, this should the admin decision and not a machine decision. thanks Mario mario

Interesting tool, first time I have ever used project management software. I go back to a time in project mgt using a flat rock and chisel, just a note pad and pencil. Hi guys, 30 posts in "General" around 30 posts in "Feature Requests" in the last 2 months which by the way, over 30% of them got no answer at all from you stuff, should be for you an indication that something is lacking. If you don't take really care of your user community and their feedback or questions, who the hell are you going to make business with? Todolist Flag \"Internal\" or \"External\" do not work prope
If I create a Milestone and I flag it as "External" and then I create a new Task List and connect it to this External Related milestone with Todolist Flag "internal", the Task List is still flagged as External Task List when created. The same in a viceversa situation. I think this a bug because is not working as intended. It is also not possible when a Task list belongs to a milestone to change its Todolist Flag state (there is no option for it) you have to flag it as none and then from the Miscellaneous

Week Ahead Calendar in Dashboard
Probably one of the best features in Basecamp is their weekahead calendar. It looks clean and clear. They show always the complete name of the shown Milestones. In Zoho Dashboard the names are cut what is not clear to see but the funny thing about it is that there is left a huge white space after the cut names on the right side of the box. Responsable instead of Owner
Hi, I think it would be more clear and appropiate to called it "Responsable" to the person who whose task is assigned instead of Owner, which actually means nothing, since it does not mean that person is in charge for that task. So in Dashboard view, it is confusing to read "Owner" in Today's tasks. cheers mario
Added notes to Tasks
When you add a note to a task, it would be useful to show e.g. that "1 note" in a different color like orange or so to clearly see there is a note in that task. As all those marks are in the same blue colour is not clear to see which ones have notes and which ones don't. Thanks Mario mario

Week Ahead: Icons instead of initials
Hi, I find it confusing the use of initials like TD or MS or ME to describe or Tag the entries in the calender. It would much easier to read and find if you would use icons a colors for it. For instance, you could put a Clock or People symbol for meetings, a Task symbol for Tasks (the tipical hash symbol) and something for the milestone, and again a diferent color for each. I'd like to see greater flexibility in terms of roles and users. Particuarly, it looks like there can only be 1 administrator and once it's set, you're stuck w/ it for life!

I'll start by saying that I find Zoho Projects to be the most intuitive of the web-based project management tools I have tried. Problem with uploaded PDF-files on Zoho Projects
Hi, since a couple of days all the pdf files I upload to my Projects account are getting corrupted. I have uploaded a screenshot of the dialogue box with the error message I get to my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55625122@N00/448648282/ As all these PDF files work properly on my local machine and can be opened with Adobe Reader as well as Foxit Reader without any problems I would suppose there's something wrong with Zoho projects. PDF files uploaded last week - by the way - are ok.

A few cool features that you users had been asking for got added in the latest Zoho Projects update. Listing them here : 1. Task List Templates - If you have the same list of tasks to be duplicated across Milestones/Projects, this functionality is for you. You can create a new template from scratch (Under Settings -> Templates) or make an existing tasklist as a 'Template Task List'. 2. You can now send private messages to a selected few members of your Projects account. Click on Users -> Send Message.
Task Assignment
Currently from what I saw we can only define tasks that takes 1 day or more. I could not define a task with couple hours. Is there any option there that I don't know ? In addition how about assigning one task to more than one person ? Can we do it ? I could not find that one as well. shahid

weird behavior of task timer in timesheet
Hi: I tried using the task timer on a test task today and when I was done, the time spent was added to the timesheet, but with the following quirks: 1) The entry shows up in the right amount and on the right day in the calendar view of the timesheet, but clicking on the link shows "no log hours for (date)" in the window above the calendar. 2) Clicking on the time entry for the PREVIOUS day, however, brings up the detail window above, with all the time logged yesterday, PLUS the time I logged today
Manually log out users
I see that users have to manually log themselves out of Zoho, but my users won't remember to do that. I need to be able to log them out manually. Right now it shows one guy has been in the site 2 days. info

Everybody duck - newbie on board. I have a question about security and segregation. I manage multiple accounts, with multiple projects, and with multiple employees/subscontractors. I'd like to be able to use a project management solution that allows me as the admin to track and see everything. But I also need to be able to completely segregate everything for everybody else. Hey everyone, First I must say, that I am extremely impressed with Zoho! I had a quick question... I've added some tasks and task lists and such to my project and when I'm in the "Tasks and Milestones" list there's a small calendar on the right hand side. Shouldn't that list my tasks? Right now, all it has listed is a milestone I've created. And on top of that, I notice a legend above the calendar that has the priorities color coded... except the only think thats colored on my calendar is my milestone

Hi! I don't know what other users are thinking about, but if we store all our project data on zohoproject we do definitly need more space available. As we deal with digital images we come very fast near the 1GB per project ... Possibly you can implement a feature, where it is possible to send an eMail to a @zohoprojects.com email address specific to a project. Scheduling functions and user/client contact input
I'm liking ZPMS and will probably discover how best to do this after I've used Zoho projects for awhile, but none the less, I was hoping for a simple way to view the "schedule" of any day by clicking on a particular day in the calendar view, automatically it would then show that day broken down into x (1-24) hours- x(5-10-15) minute increments.
