Multiple locations -> multiple workflows. How?
How do people manage recruiting in different locations or for different job types? What I think I need is to tag each candidate according to the job they have applied for, and then use that tag to determine which templates are used later. However, the rules and field updates only apply to one area at a time eg candidates or openings, when I need to say "candidate.location = opening.location". How do other people handle this? I can't believe we're the first to hit this issue. Thanks
More than one workflow - how
I've had a good read of this forum and some googling and can't believe nobody has asked this question. I want to use Zoho recruit to recruit people for different jobs in different locations. To do this, I need to be able to mark candidates with a "Department" tag so I can make rules like "Somebody's applied for a job in Bigtown, send them interview info for the Bigtown office". How do people do this? We're not at the scale where every office & job function wants to pay for a Zoho sub. Many thanks.

Importing multi-select data
Hi there, I am currently trying to populate a multi-select checklist with records from an excel spreadsheet. I have entered the variables in a single cell separated by a semicolon as demonstrated; Babysit;Temp;Permanent The options in the Zoho field that it is aligned with are Babysit, Temp, Permanent and TBC. Every other field populates fine however nothing imports into this field. Any ideas? Thanks

I need to segment my contacts by industry, if there is an existing way of doing this, please can you let me know. Alternatively please copy industry to the contact record from the company they are linked to. Thanks Barbara

Zoho recruit - CRM sync
Hi, We're having an issue since 13/06 with the sync between CRM & recruit. New deals are not imported as jobopenings in recruit. I mailed already more then 8 times for this issue & tried to recruit contact support in the UK, but nobody is answering the phone... How do we solve this? Regards, Sven

Hi, I did generated auth token for an integration with zoho recruit by API. My code is fine, but I only receive "Invalid Ticket Id" as response. I changed the auth token some times, however the message still same. My code runs perfectly with another zoho recruit portal.
Amendment to interview times slots
Hi We raised a request over 6 months ago for the time slots for meetings/interviews to be changed but have not hear anything..... it is really annoying that interviews cannot be scheduled at a time like 11.05am or 11.10am etc.

Best way to "unqualify" an candidate?
When there's a candidate we want to "unqualify" as a candidate, what's the best way to do that? I recall there was an "unqualify" as a candidate option in the past. We have a candidate who we will not work with in the future. We don't want to remove him from the database because we don't want a future recruiter to add him to our database. We've done email opt-out, but want to make sure he doesn't show up in any search results.

Sent mail going to junk folder
I have just trialled Zoho Recruit as I am looking for a centralised database from which I can send emails, however the two test clients I have added send straight to Junk mail. I have changed the TXT and SPF but it hasn't made a difference. Please advise as I don't want to invest time setting up a database which I cant use!

Multiple emails for single candidate
I recently uploaded a candidate and then found he was duplicated in the system by virtue of his work email (uploaded in a bulk transfer). His personal email is tied to the separate candidate profile created. I figured I would copy and paste one email to the other to eliminate the duplication of candidates. However, there doesn't appear to be a field to insert a 2nd email address. Is this a training issue? Or am I seeing this correctly?

I'm trying to upload a file using the url in a POST method. Zoho Recruit API fails when job title is in Japanese
Hello, I'm having a problem to retrieve job descriptions when job title is in Japanese. I've tried both formats (xml and json) and both of them returns NULL or empty values. When trying to retrieve data from a job opening which either is fully English, or title in English and description in Japanese, everything works fine. This bug is breaking the website! Everything I read says that you can sponsor jobs directly from Zoho Recruit. However, when I post a job, there is not an option. I have tried calling the support number and it says i am in position 1 and 30 minutes later I still have silence. Please help.... just want to get these jobs posted.
Speculative CV sending
Hi, It's great to be able to put candidates against live jobs but many recruiters "work" a candidate and send them out speculatively. It would be great to be able to build a "spec list" of target clients against a candidate and then record when the CV has been sent across and who to, interview requests etc without having to create a job specifically for one candidate when there might not be one already existing with the client/employer.

Problems with API-tokens - make no sense
I have problems connecting to your API. First: when I try to call your "generateAuthToken", it says my mail is not a valid client ID. I bypassed that by generating a token in the browser mode, and I can see it in my account now, so it should work. But when I call your API with the authtoken, it keeps saying Invalid Ticket ID. I have tried different plugins, writing the code myself etc., and changing the API key and so on. But it seems like something is wrong in your API or with my account? I am on

Hi there, I've recently begun using Zoho and feel that it's a good system that could be made even better with some adjustments. In particular the search features would benefit from an upgrading. A radius search feature is needed to search for clients, candidates or contacts within the radius of a postcode/zipcode. Candidate application's confirmation
Hello, When candidates are applying to a role, they are filling up a webform with all the details asked. However, some candidates are not relevant and I do not want to keep them in the database. Example: I have a candidate with the first name of Pranahita. If I search Prana she does not display in the results. I must type her full name. It would be nice if the quick search picked up candidates with abbreviated names.
